First Class

As a single parent in the military who works full time at different hours I can't possible stress how brilliant Lucy has been. I would have seriously struggled with out her.
Not only does she offer geat rates but she is absoloutely fantastic with children and highly flexible too. I was dropping my son Matthew off at 06:15 every morning and she was taking him to school for me, picking him up and looking after him until I could get home.
Always switched on to the moods and needs of the children Lucy noticed my son was starting to struggle at his new school and at her suggestion we started a "communication" book between us all, this worked wonders with pinning down any issues we or Matthew had.
Matthew loves going to Lucy's so much that he asks to go on weekends and even during the holidays!
I really can't recommend her highly enough, thank you Lucy!

Molly, Lilly and Neve

My 2 older children had been to the local nursery however by the time I had my 3rd child the nurseries had changed and I was unhappy to place her there. I found Lucy's number on line and I visited with Lucy with my partner and Neve. Immediately I found Lucy's home warm and welcoming, Lucy was lovely and just seemed totally child focussed. I was reluctant to go back to work and leave Neve but I felt reassured that she would be in what appeared a happy home environment.

Neve immediately settled and would go to Lucy’s open arms every morning, she seemed happy and content when I picked her up. Lucy provided me with a weekly book filled with pictures so I could see what she’d done during the week. Lucy also provided me with daily feedback about what she’d got up to . The care Lucy provides is of an extremely high standard; her home is filled with every possible toy and she often takes her out of day trips to the beach or local play areas, there appears never to be a dull moment. I have been so happy with the care Lucy provides that I have taken my older children out of ‘out of school club’ and Lucy now picks them up after school, she always ensures they are well fed and entertained, the girls absolutely love going. Lucy’s husband and children are equally lovely and always welcome you into their home. I hope that Neve can stay with Lucy until she’s ready for pre-school, I would recommend Lucy as a childminder who provides a high standard of care and just the bit more and as a loving parent it’s always that bit more that makes all the difference!

the perfect childminder

Lucy Applewhite is the best child minder anyone can find. While she looked after my daughter Yasmin in Germany, Yasmin always came home very happy. Playing in the garden, cooking, painting and many more activities. Lucy's sons were Yasmin's best friends. She is about 5 now and still talks about Sam and Jack. Lucy creates the clean, safe and happy family environment for children. Also Lucy always very good with healthy eating as well as bed times and children's individual needs. Lucy babysat for Yasmin many times and she loved her staying so it was easy to go out with my husband. You can trust her to look after your children as good as you. Lucy has many good qualities and trainings about childcare and she is naturally loving and caring person...
