Kim has been our childminder since I went back to work when our son was 8 months old. I knew the moment I met her that she would be the right person to look after him as she is so clearly good at her job. She is extremely capable and nothing ever seems to faze her. She is very good with young children and babies, and it is obvious they all enjoy being with her. She has a separate play room where the children can make a mess, do artwork etc, and she takes them into her garden, on walks or to the park whenever possible. Plus she is the only person I know who has managed to get our son to eat broccoli !
Our son is now 9 and every holiday he asks if he can go to Kim's as he still enjoys himself there, and has made some very good friends over the years.
