Clair is a wonderful child minder. She has been caring for my daughter for 3 days a week since she was 12 months old. Clair offers a warm and welcoming home from home environment for the children and my little one loves her time there, happily bounding in each morning, excited for her day.
The days are mixed between structured activities like arts and crafts , signing and music and outside play and opportunities for free play. My daughter was blossomed in Clair's care and I have total confidence that Clair knows her well and what makes her tick. Clair offers a nurturing environment that has enable my little girl to grow in confidence both individually and with the other children. We have personal daily communication/ about how the day has been. In additional Clair offers regular updates about what is planned for the month ahead. Clair has different themes for each month and the children are offered lots of variety and exploration activities around the theme,.
Clair is very knowledgeable about child development and follows EYFS within the setting encouraging each child to make steps forwards in their emotional and social development.
I was anxious when returning to work and Clair was so empathic and supportive, offering gradual transitions, and so when the time came we were all ready for the change, and I can honestly say I have never looked back.
