Our son has been at Shazia's for almost a year and he absolutely loves it there! Shazia and her daughter create a very homely and nurturing environment for the children and our son is always running in to see them in the mornings and leaves with a big smile on his face at the end of each day! We're kept up to date about his developments and activities. Couldn't recommend Shazia enough :-)

Shazia and her daughter are wonderful childminders. My son has been attending Shazia’s setting since he was 10months old. Initially, I was really nervous sending my son to a childminder or nursery as he has allergies, however, Shazia put my mind to ease very quickly. Shazia is mindful of my son’s diet due to his allergies, every meal and snack the children are provided have been thought out with nutritional benefits in mind. My son is now two, his mental and physical development has been phenomenal and Shazia has a great amount of knowledge and experience. Shazia and her family are now like a second family to my son, my son has a wonderful relationship with them all. I would highly recommend Shazia’s setting as this isn’t just a job to Shazia, she works with passion and love and it clearly shows.

Shazia has been incredible with our son. He went to her just before he turned 14 months and was a super shy guy who wasn't great around anyone other than immediate family. A year later he is a friendly kid who is thriving in his speech, emotional intelligence and wellbeing.
She gets him to eat all sorts that I have never been able to and is so so good with all the kids.
I would highly recommend Shazia if you are looking for a childminder.

Shazia and her daughter are wonderful childminders. Our daughter attended from the age of 1. They are very caring and sensitive to individual needs. Nutritious meal provided. Their setting is very clean and filled with a variety of toys. They carried out lots of different activities with the children and despite not having an outside area, took the children to the park, the wetlands and to other groups. We received regular updates and photos. Our daughter loved all of Shazia’s family and we were so sad to leave. Highly recommend !

Our son has loved it at Shazia's, he literally runs in every morning! Shazia and Amina are incredibly nurturing and caring and the setting is clean, well organised and tidy.
My son has been very happy, eaten well and participated in some lovely activities.
We will be very sad to leave Shazia's and will miss his friends however it's time for him to move onto larger setting at a nursery.
Would highly recommend!

Our daughter was lucky to be cared for by Shazia and her daughter Amina. I was nervous about starting as my daughter was slightly older at 18m and only attending one day a week, but Shazia made the whole process straightforward and smooth as possible. Shazia and Amina were always friendly, kind and smiling, with a very nurturing attitude, and Bea really bonded with her and Amina. Shazia sent sweet photos and planned lots of activities and outings. My daughter ate and slept well at Shazia's, which I was always surprised by (!) and she made friends who she will dearly miss.
Shazia was also responsive and flexible if I needed childcare on other days. We have had to move away from the area, otherwise my daughter would happily still be attending.
I'd really recommend Shazia's setting if you're in need of childcare.

Our daughter is nearly 2.5 and has been with Shazia since around 11months old. Our daughter is sensitive to loud sounds and new people and we were nervous about settling in. This was a huge change for our tiny baby - and for us! - who had been together so closely throughout her 'locked-down' early life.
Settling in was tough for us and took a long time. Shazia did lots to ensure the best approach for our daughter and was caring and communicative throughout.
Shazia provides a lovely range of activities, sends photos - especially in the early days of settling in and spends time in the nearby garden and visits the children's centre. She has been supportive of potty training and is generally very understanding and supportive of anything new going on.
Shazia's assistant and daughter Amina is also an incredibly talented and kind provider, who uses her intuition well. She has formed a strong bond with our little one and has great communication and emotional intelligence.
It's really nice that Shazia's grown up children are around too. Our LO has come home with the most beautiful plaits in her hair, which was gorgeous to see and think how calming that must be for her to sit for that!
Food is great at Shazia's, home cooked meals with a variety of fruit, vegetables, curries and rice. Our daughter loves all the food and is catered for brilliantly with snacks too. Shazia respects the wishes of no junk food etc.
Shazia's house is always incredibly clean, which is very admirable!
Whenever I have been in early to collect my daughter, I love to see how the other children interact. They are happy and sociable, forming a very cute bond between them.
We will be moving on from Shazia's now our daughter is older and we are moving areas.
The biggest thank you to Shazia and her family for creating a home away from home for our little one and for understanding and flexibility through tough times.

We have been so lucky to have found Shazia.
Our daughter started going to Shazia 's when she was 10 months old. It was hard going back to work but knowing that she was in such good hands with her just made everything much, much easier.
I love that Shazia does many different activities ( she shares daily moments by sending photos) so our little one has so many chances to learn and see new things!
Shazia also provides excellent quality, home-made food. She has a flexible approach, she provides a wonderful, safe and nurtering environment.
Our little one loves going to Shazia 's, and we as parents know that while she's with her, she's excellently cared for and that she can explore and discover the world in a very loving and enriching environment.
Our 14 years old has been in Shazia' s caring hands when he was younger. She is highly professional, we highly recommend her.
We will deeply miss you.

Our daughter joined Shazia's setting around her 1st birthday and having spent a lot of the previous year in lockdowns, we were nervous about leaving her with anyone. But Shazia was incredibly nurturing, caring and loving, and helped her settle in. She provided regular updates to put our minds at rest - this was hugely appreciated!
Shazia's setting is inviting and immaculately clean, with a wide range of age-appropriate toys to suit all children in her setting. She makes delicious home-cooked food every day, ensuring the children get lots of vegetables and exposure to lots of different types food - our daughter loves lentil curries thanks to Shazia!
She runs a range of activities and keep the children active: educational, outdoor, arts & crafts and seasonal, helping teach the children a wide range of skills and aid their development.
We get photos and updates, and our daughter has come on leaps and bounds in terms of her development, language skills, emotional intelligence and confidence. She's now almost 2 1/2 and ready to take the next step to nursery. We couldn't have hoped for a better setting and we would highly recommend Shazia to anyone!

I highly recommend Shazia! My son adores her and is happy when we head off each morning as he knows he’ll be seeing her and playing with all the children all day! I’m also happy as I know I’m leaving him with someone who is very loving and really cares. Her setting is immaculately clean and she feeds the children home cooked nutritious food. She sends pictures of what my son has been up to, she takes them to the childrens centre regularly and she holds little parties for their birthdays which is so sweet! I felt so lucky to find her! I’m so sad she’s leaving Walthamstow or my son, who’s now 15 months would be with her for another year!

Shazia and her daughter Amina started looking after our now 2 year old when she was 11 months old. We were quite nervous about the transition, but Shazia's calm and caring approach put us at ease as our girl settled quickly to her home environment.
Shazia's setting is bright, immaculately clean, with loads of age appropriate toys, delicious home cooked food, and love and attention to meet each child's needs. She runs a range of activities with her little ones- educational, seasonal and outdoor, as well as regularly taking them to the children's centre (since end of covid). We get photos and updates, and our daughter has come on leaps and bounds in terms of confidence, speech and sociability. Thanks to Shazia and her family as part of our girl's extended family, she is now ready for a nursery environment.
We couldn't have hoped for a kinder and more nurturing carer for our child. We're terribly sad to see Shazia move, but know that she will benefit many more children and their parents or carers in her new home.

Shazia's setting is incredibly warm, fun and caring. You know that your child gets a lot of focussed, one to one, attention (and hugs) while still being surrounded by other children :)
My son started there when he was 16 months and I got a good feeling from Shazia from the beginning. She is very caring, has a good sense of humour and clearly loves children. My son adores her and runs in every morning (without saying goodbye!) He also loves playing with her grown up children, who work with Shazia on occasion. His language skills improved very quickly after starting there & he has created really strong relationships with the other kids. He loves Shazia’s home cooking, especially her rice dishes. I always feel good dropping my son off there in the mornings, I would highly recommend her.

Shazia has been looking after our two year girl for around six months now. She is caring, patient and warm and does a fantastic job with our highly energetic toddler. Our daughter genuinely looks forward to spending time with her and always greets her with a smile. We have seen huge strides in her development particularly around her speech. Can’t recommend her enough! She is always accessible and really listens to our needs.

We were a bit nervous about putting our daughter in childcare when she was 1 year old – she had never been looked after by anyone else – but Shazia was absolutely amazing, and put us at ease. She is such a calm, caring and friendly person, with lots of experience as a childminder and mum. Our daughter is now 2 years old, and she adores her time at Shazia's. She has made great friends with the other babies and children, and she loves spending time with Shazia's grown-up children, too. She also loves Shazia's food, and all the arts and crafts activities. Shazia has created a lovely and nurturing environment. I highly recommend her.

Our daughter was with Shazia for just over a year and her setting became like a home from home. Our daughter immediately settled in Shazia's presence and Shazia was very warm and caring. My daughter absolutely adored her!
Shazia is a very proactive childminder who undertakes numerous activities with the children, something which was very important to us. Within a couple of weeks my daughters confidence had blossomed and she absolutely thrived in her childminding setting.
I would absolutely recommend Shazia to anyone who is nervous about leaving their children in childcare for the first time and for anyone looking for a childminder that is personable, approachable and extreme friendly. We were extremely sad to leave Shazia when the time came as my daughter had built a lovely relationship, not only with Shazia herself but also her daughters who my daughter adored. A beautiful family and beautiful home, the perfect childminder and setting.

My husband and I cared for our daughter for the first 16 months and knew that she was going to find it tough being away from us. Shazia was amazing from the very first day, she put all of our worries to rest very quickly, and still gives us great guidance when needed.
Shazia is calm, affectionate and playful. Our daughter absolutely loves her and spending time at her very spacious flat or going on adventures with her and the other children. She takes on a small number of children so that she can give them as much attention possible. Shazia dedicates a lot of time and effort to observing the children, checking on their development, and organising interesting and fun activities for them at home and outside. Our daughter loves all the messy play. She also loves Shazia's cooking! Shazia's own children, who are teenagers and young adults, are lovely and treat the little ones like family, our daughter loves being around them.
I cannot say enough about Shazia, she has been a godsend for us. I highly recommend her and cannot imagine our lives without her!

Being a first time mum and having a premie baby I was a scared and protective mother. No one can care for my daughter like I do, that was my mind set.
After trying day care nursery and my daughter finding it hard to settle and also I just didn’t feel comfortable with the setup. I was very reluctant to leave my daughter with anyone. But when I went to se shaiza I was supervised at how nice her property was and how much open space there was. Shaiza worked very hard to settle me and my daughter in. I think if it wasn’t for shaiza I would still be looking for childminder. Only way I can discribe shaiza is that she takes care of my daughter like a Mum would. And I thank god for being shaiza into our life and thanks to childcare.co.uk for connecting us. Very very very highly recommend.

Shazia has taken care of our daughter since she was 9 months old. I cannot recommend her highly enough. She is a natural with children, with a warm and caring approach, and years of experience as a minder, and as a mother. Shazia treats the children in her care like her own, with such personalised attention to their likes, dislikes, patterns of sleeping and eating, individual abilities, and teaching and encouraging them through new challenges and stages in collaboration with the parents. Unlike busy day care facilities and many other child minders, you never get the feeling your child is being put through the paces, rather it's like leaving them with a member of the family who really cares about their emotional well being and development as much as their physical needs. Every time we arrive at Shazia's, our daughter breaks into a huge smile. Kids adore Shazia as much as she adores them. I have complete confidence when I leave our child with Shazia, which is such a huge relief as a parent of a young child each day at work. Five stars.

Shazia has cared for my son for 30 hours a week for over a year, since he was 10 months old. I cannot recommend her highly enough. Shazia welcomed him into the heart of her family, always prioritising his wellbeing. I trust her implicitly, whether she's with my son in her clean and spacious home, or taking him out to the park, library or playgroups. Shazia's own children are a complete delight, which means I'm confident that he will develop well in her hands. Shazia is caring regarding my son's routine, dietary needs and needs - requesting things like sun cream in hot weather, or an extra hat when it's cold. She takes the initiative in providing fun, educational activities which have helped him progress. I hope we will continue to have a relationship with her for a long time to come.
