Gerry has been instrumental in the upbringing of our daughter for a little over a year. The only reason it wasn't longer is because we moved house and we couldn't force Gerry to move with us.
She has cared for our daughter Jasmine full time, filling the week with fun and stimulating activities, mixing with other kids, visits to parks, zoo, playgrounds, music class etc. Always sending pictures and videos to reassure and brighten your day.
She helped out with babysitting and was the person I could call in a panic for advice. She taught Jasmine essential skills and was incredibly vigilant in terms of her health-care and development.
Gerry is a no nonsense granny, in the best possible way; she genuinely loves kids and they adore her.
Full of love, humour and kindness, she has a wealth of experience and welcomed Jasmine into her family with open arms. I will never forget and be grateful for her constant support.
If you can get a place with Gerry you are very very lucky, she's a total Gem.
