I knew that I wanted Sue as the childminder for my children the moment that I met her. Her lovely home was a safe haven for both of my children with a lovely comfortable feeling full of toys, books and heaps of love and cuddles. Sue always makes sure there is regular activities going on, both outside the home and in it which my children loved. When I collected them from work, my children's little faces would light up when they spoke to me about the things that they had been doing. They often had a drawing or painting in hand too, which they were always very proud of. It really was lovely to hear the excitement in their voices.
Sue was always incredibly organised and thorough at keeping up with the written side of the job too, which included portfolios of my children's development, their eating and sleeping routines etc. The communication both written and verbal made everything very clear. If there was a problem at all then I found it easy to seek advice and support from Sue.
My children really enjoyed spending time with her children which made the whole thing even better. In fact, they still maintain the wonderful relationships they have built with them even though they are not under Sue's care anymore. It really was the very best decision I have made having Sue as our childminder.
