Anna took us under her wing and we have never looked back. I was just pregnant with my second child when we first met in a park and I felt instantly at ease with her. She has a natural affinity with children and my baby who was 9mths old when he started with Anna was settled and happy in no time. Anna helped me as a mum too, I was so nervous returning to work again but Anna kept me posted with pictures and messages that kept me sane in those early weeks. After almost 4 years with Anna, my son went on to start school, Anna had him school ready, writing his name, putting his own coat and shoes on, he was completely independent and that was all down to Anna.

We didn’t want him to leave Anna before he started school so we didn’t do any preschool as he already got everything he needed for school from being with Anna.

We all dreaded him leaving Annas but I knew Anna would always be in our lives, she still babysits for us now.

For any nervous mums out there who are worried about going back to work, all I can say is make sure you book in early so as you get a space. Anna is snapped up by everyone who sees her and this advice was given to me. Good childminders are hard to come by. Her home is light, airy and welcoming, the children are always busy with plenty of outside activities too and most of all my son adores her! We will always be grateful for the start she has given our son and the way she has loved him like her own.
