Cherie is looking after my two children (3yo and 1,5yo) every Thursday while I go to college. When college called me that the course is starting I spent 2weeks looking for childminder with no success. On the third week I contacted Cherie , after my friend suggested her, and shocked her by saying I need her that same exact week. So she quickly arranged us to go over and meet her. Children were quite curious about everything they saw in Cherie’s house , especially they loved the pups 🥰 so the first Thursday came and was their first time staying there without me. I was very nervous as I knew my 1year old is very attached to me and never wants to be left with anyone. She cried when I left and I believe around 30min later I received the first photos/videos of my children being totally happy and playing. That put me at ease.
Even now, after having multiple sessions with Cherie- my daughter still cries when left there but nothing has changed - I still get a video 20-30min later that they are settled 😊 so I absolutely don’t worry when leave them as I know they are doing so many fun things-playing in garden, learning and practising songs and musical instruments and reading books.
It’s lovely there and thank you to Cherie for being so quick in responding to me when I felt like I’m not gonna find anyone before my college starts ❤️
