About Me
I'm 28 years old and originally started baby sitting for family members/ family friends when I was as young as 13. Once I learnt to drive at 17 I became a live out nanny for 6 month old twins whilst I was studying for my A Levels in Shropshire, before moving to London! I’m very calm, I enjoy sports and music and the great outdoors (I grew up on a farm). Other interests include cooking, art and film photography.

I am a published children's author. I am currently training to become OFSTED registered as a childminder and will be taking on kids from January 2025.
** please note, I have two very lovely, friendly dogs at my setting; pet allergies and fear of dogs would mean I am not the right childminder.
My dogs are fully vaccinated, I keep them separate from the children but they are very gentle happy dogs who are used to kids**
My Experience
I have been a nanny for newborn up to age 12 but feel confident in helping with all ages. My approach is to act as an older sibling to the kids in my care (which works great as I can bond and have a closeness with them but also have their respect). I am still close with the families I have helped in the past, the kids are a huge part of my life!

Lucy has always been on time, communicative and reliable. She's really built a rapport with our 6 month old baby girl, so much that she gets all the chuckles!
Lucy is also very caring and clearly loves her role as a nanny. We 100% trust her with our baby and we know that our little one is in safe hands. We wholeheartedly recommend her for any nannying role.

Lucy took care of my 5-year-old for a full day and my child enjoyed every minute of it. She is experienced with young school children and soon to be a teaching assistant. She was punctual and communicative.
