Maggie was my sons childminder before he started school, and continues to provide coverage in the holidays for both he and his brother (now ages 5 and 9).
I used to work in a childcare setting and I can honestly say I’d rather send my children to Maggie than a nursery ever again. She offers so much more in terms of quality of experience by me and the relationship with my sons, the learning and experiences my sons had was second to none.

As a disabled parent, Maggie worked around me to whatever degree she could, sometimes having Theo extra hours where she could when I was unable to manage.

Her dog, Jack, is such a cool dude and I have little experiences with dogs, so I was a little unsure how that would be managed but Theo loved him and Jack is so obedient and laid back that he’d have a cuddle when Theo wanted it then go for a sleep.
Maggie has a playroom which has been thoughtfully laid out with all kinds of different things that kids can learn from and have fun with.
When toilet training Theo, Maggie was a massive support and between us, it was so much easier to master. She gave Theo confidence and made him feel like such a big boy.
Maggie also does some super fun outings, my boys both have memories of Mudchute farm and how great it was.

Food wise, Maggie offers healthy meals and helped my children try new things that they wouldn’t try for me. Her home is spotless too.
One of the things I loved most was the updates I’d get with photos of activities my children would be totally engrossed in- and not staged pics, natural in the moment ones.

Since moving to big school, Theo often asks about Maggie and we have maintained a lovely bond, and one of my new school mum friends also took the recommendation and has since started her little one with Maggie.

When I say I can’t recommend highly enough, I truly truly mean that. My family thinks the world of Maggie and if I were to have another little one, there is no question as to the childcare choices I would make, Maggie would be without question my only choice.
