I feel incredibly lucky that we have had Stanka (or Sally as my kids know her) as our nanny. She is incredibly warm and kind hearted, and it is clear to see her genuine care and affection towards the kids. My usually super clingy daughter (10 months) absolutely adores her and she has come on so much in the time they have been together because of Stanka’s encouraging and nurturing nature. She also looks after my almost 3 years old son when not in nursery, always thinking about things he might enjoy doing together. She really pays attention to what we need, she’s always reliable, extremely organised and helpful and always leaves the place spotless. Always easy to be around.
This was always going to be a temporary role because of a planned relocation but as our time together comes to an end I know I will feel a little bereft without her. she will certainly not be easy to replace, and any family that she joins will be the better for it.
