Sara has played a pivotal role in our two-year-old's development and has helped him to excel beyond what we would have expected for his age.

Sara creates bespoke lessons for each child, tailored to their individual needs and inspired by the environment around the child, their interests, the seasons and nature.

Sara also cares for our six-year-old daughter before school. She loves her time at Sara’s and all the thoughtful activities she fits into the short space of time in the mornings.

An example of a learning journey both our children loved, was she when Sara taught them about the life of a caterpillar through to a butterfly. Sarah kept some caterpillars in a special enclosure and the children watched them feed, grow, build cocoons and eventually hatch into butterflies and be released. The journey was enriched with story-telling, art, nature walks and factual information. The children were fascinated and learnt so much.

Sara updates us with what our son is doing each day through WhatsApp messages and Tapestry, which we find reassuring and gives us good communication tools about his day.

We have frequent developmental meetings and discussions about our child's progress and areas to focus on - be it signing and feeding when he was younger, to speech, behaviour, counting, colours - so his learning has a joined-up approach.

We love that Sara takes the children on learning walks, observing nature and that this is translated into activities - like creating art using conkers.

Sara is uniquely gifted in her understanding of children and ability to tap into their interests and make their learning and development fun and sensitive to their personality and individual needs. She is also very reliable and has never let us down.
