Katerina is a wonderful, warm and thoughtful person. She has a special knack and perception with children and she is able to understand their needs and individual characters very quickly. As a nanny, she is great fun and incredibly patient and creative, not to mention a superb baker! She loves her job and it really came through in her interactions with my one year old.
Overall
Babette has looked after my son for two years, since he was a year old and it has been a joy to watch their relationship develop. In addition to facilitating lots of fun indoor and outdoor play, Babette has taught him so much, and people often comment on how well mannered and respectful he is in his interactions with others. Babette is always patient and caring but she has a way of explaining right and wrong to children that they can really connect with. One of the key things I appreciate about Babette is that she is always really present and genuine in her interactions with our son and he really feels heard and secure with her. Whether that is during one of her amazing play sessions, while she is having a quiet word about being kind to other children, or when she is chasing him around a tree, she is always fully there with him. It is hard to quantify the amazing impact that can have on a child's emotional development but I like to believe that every child should have a Babette! On a practical note, Babette is also punctual, flexible and good at matching up odd socks...
