My daughter was offered School nursery place at 3 different school, so I started looking for for childminder who can do school run.

I found Penny, I went to see her and explained my requirement. She verbally agreed, straight from her house I went school to submit acceptance form.

I came home and messaged her school tentative start date and keep place for my daughter. In few days I received letter from school with the start date, I informed her again and this time I told her that I would like to send my daughter from 16th August, she agreed with the date.

I even asked her if she is planning to take any holidays in August so I can book mine as per her. She gave me holidays dates.

After few days I messaged her to ask when I come to discuss further about the timing as my daughter was started 2.5 weeks before school but she didn’t message. After few days I called her but she didn’t answer or no call back.

Again after few days I messaged her, she replied she can’t offer place to my daughter as I didn’t confirm if I want to send my daughter or not. I sent her message screenshot, where I informed her school start date and I agreed to send my daughter to her place and asked her when I can come to discuss further details but it was her who didn’t reply. To this she just messaged good luck with your searches.

I prepared my daughter for the school now she is so disappointed that she can’t go to school as all her friends from current daycare going to school and she is not going to see her.

Penny has let my daughter down and put me in messy situation. Unfortunately until today I still didn’t find anyone for school run. Please be careful.
