Monica has taken care of our two year son one day a week for a period of 8 months. We have since to the other side of London; otherwise we would definitely have kept her on.

Monica is very reliable, trustworthy and hard working.

Our son absolutely loves her, he gets excited when the doorbell rings and he knows she's coming! We just asked her to always speak Spanish to our son, but she goes a step further and really makes an effort to teach him words and get him to repeat.

When he has a nap she'll cook some food for his dinner and help out with hanging out laundry or cleaning up the kitchen. We've also had her babysit for us and she had no problem bathing our son and putting him to bed.

She's come to our rescue a few times and really gone out of her way to help us out when we've been stuck for childcare.

I talk to her in Spanish and my partner communicates with her in basic Spanish, a bit of English and a bit of Google Translate but they've never had any problems.
