Totally fantastic!
Kirsty has quite simply changed our lives and that of our little girl.
Our daughter was really struggling to settle in a previous venue and was starting to develop serious childhood anxiety - to the point where even large groups of family members was intimidating for her. We as a family were really struggling with the stress and sadness of the whole situation until we met Kirsty.
Straight away we could see what a brilliant childminder Kirsty is. Her experience showed in her first conversations with us. She immediately understood our problem and made suggestions before we even decided to move. Her background in working with children of all ages, needs and personalities has totally changed our daily life. Anything Kirsty doesn't know, she finds out. Put simply we have our happy little girl back.
The venue is rural and offers plenty of space to play - both inside and out. There are loads of toys, pet rabbits and kittens. The fields have farm animals and tractors which makes a great spotting game on the way in each day. It's so peaceful and safe and our daughter is sometimes tricky to convince to come home! It feels like freedom for her.
Developmentally we have seen a real difference in our daughter's progress. Language, maths and creative skills have all increased dramatically since being with Kirsty. She has also moved on physically with running, jumping and shows really good balance.
Kirsty provides really balanced and healthy food in a fun way to make sure that all of th children are getting a balanced lifestyle whilst in her care. The kids are always out and about doing exciting things. It could be a trip to Eden or simply a park or beach. Wherever it is, we as parents are safe in the knowledge that our girl is being looked after. Is safe and being monitored and is probably giggling.
We couldn't recommend Kirsty enough. This review may seem a bit over-blown. It's not though. We have replaced screaming and tears with "we go Kirsty's house now" and as loving parents, it has made such a difference.
Our daughter probably sums it up best - "I love Kirsty"
