Excellent and caring staff

Sending my first child here so I could return to work was a big choice. I am so glad I chose puddleducks. My son has settled in so quickly and naps better at nursery than he does at home! The famly app provides updates throughout the day and I love getting photos of what he has been up to. The staff from both rooms can always provide information on his day upon collection and they are very imaginative with what they can do when the weather isn't so good. The staff all seem to love their jobs which is lovely too see the energy from them towards the children.

A caring nursery with fliexbilty

I send my older daughter to Pudlleducks after-school club and my younger daughter to the nursery. Both have received fantastic care from the very caring staff, my girls are always happy to attend and come out with a smile on their face. Puddleducks have always been extremely flexible which is invaluable as a working parent and they have put my children and their well-being first.The information I receive from the Famly app too.

Grandparents Dream

We frequently drop off and collect our grandaughter from this wonderful nursery.
The staff are all so caring and polite.
It is refreshing to hear all our grandaughter has done during the day.
She enjoys going on the woodland waddles and talking about her day when we collect.
Highly recommend.

Review your options before considering Puddleducks

Read the most recent Ofsted reports before considering to send your child to this nursery.
This nursery could be excellent if it was not for the poor management, which may have caused the high turnover of staff. Unfortunately, staff do not seem competent in safeguarding and assisting children in their development appropriately, with the right training and management the nursery could achieve the outstanding rating it once had.

We would like to respond to this message by saying we have served children and families for 30 years in the local area. Very rarely do we get any complaints and usually these are resolved quite amicably. Working in partnership with parents is one of our strong points.
We do not have a high staff turnover but sometimes staff wish to pursue a change in career and most recently one has a wish to travel, another to become a nanny and we are now under new management.
We work closely with Ofsted and the local authority to iron out any small discrepancies and look forward to serving the local community for many years to come.
