Frances is an excellent childminder and a lady who has been instrumental with my sons development. I feel sad we will be leaving her!

My son joined Frances when he was 15 months old and has been with her for the last 18 months. When he joined he was a lockdown baby and not very used to being in the care of other people, which I was naturally anxious about. Frances took the time to allow a gradual phasing in process, which worked really well and she was very patient and understanding towards mine and Jaspers needs.

Over the past 18 months there is so much I can highlight. I chose Frances because she got out and about with her children and did a variety of activities. My son is an outdoors boy and it was important to my partner and I that he still got plenty of time outside. Frances walks everywhere! (and now so does my son) She combines a mix of going to different playgroups (toddler song being the favourite!), with going to various parks and playgrounds, as well as spending time at her home in the afternoons playing with toys/learning. She offers a great variety of different activities, which my son really enjoys.

Frances provides a variety of nutritious home cooked meals and our son is a great little eater as a result. She helped us overcome the challenge of mealtimes and gave some great advice. She sends us daily updates of what our son has eaten, what he has done, his naptimes and any concerns to be aware of. It is great to feel in the loop.

Frances consistently provides great advice and her attention to our sons care and development at all the little stages has never wavered. She has helped us steer through and around different hurdles. Including pointing us in the right direction when it was clear our sons physical development was behind. She helped point us in the direction of who to speak to and as a result, we worked as a great team to help build my sons physical strength and get him to reach the relevant milestones along the way. Without Frances, I can say with confidence that we wouldn’t be where we are with his physical strength. She worked really hard to help our son and the results really show. For that we will always be incredibly grateful. She has also been instrumental in Jaspers toilet training and once again, we have worked really well together to help my son out of nappies.

Frances provides great all round care. She is an excellent, caring childminder who puts the children first, always. She offers great advice, is an excellent team mate and I couldn’t recommend her highly enough.
