I really can't recommend Fiona enough. I first approached Fiona shortly after the first Covid Lockdown, my then Year 2 son, like many other children, had missed out on six months of formal education, home-schooling had not gone very well and I felt he needed some extra support. Being Summer born, he is young in his year group and finds concentrating on certain tasks, at school, challenging and he can become distracted very easily. Fiona, with her naturally enthusiastic and bubbly personality, is able to engage him and keep him focused whilst making learning fun through various games and activities; her thoughtful approach means that he doesn't even realise he is learning at all! He absolutely loves his sessions with her and is always very keen to get there.
Fiona provides a very nurturing, encouraging and informal educational environment where my son feels comfortable and relaxed. I have watched him make real progress in his reading, writing and his maths to the point he finds his school work less challenging and he has gained a lot more confidence.
