OK, so the first childminder I ever had I thought was great then…I met Penelope. You seriously couldn’t want for more for your child that’s in her care. She takes her job so seriously, is hugely passionate about what she does. She is so professional and down to earth all in one. She has a fantastic set up at her home, it’s like it’s a little nursery. My little boy is 19 months and has come on leaps and bounds in her care, he is learning so much it’s like a mini school but also a great fun place to be. She has themes each week where she focuses on different parts of their learning, each Friday she gives a folder with all the works he’s done that week. She always has time to have a good catch up on the day’s events, nothing is too much trouble. All the children’s activity is logged on line which is automatically emailed at the end of each day, you get to know all what they have been doing that combined with lots of photos so you never feel like you are missing out on the time they are away from you. To leave your child in someone’s care is a massive thing but I can honestly say I couldn’t wish to leave mine at a better place. I honestly could not recommend Penelope enough.
