Maria has looked after both my boys from age 1 & 2 years until school age.
They had never been looked after by anyone other than family before I found Maria, so I was anxious initially. But Maria made the transition so smooth and my boys were so happy and settled with her from the start. My husband and I could not have been happier and truly believe there is no better childminder around than Maria.
She loves her job and it really shows. Her warm, kind nature and lovely smile make it as easy as it can be to hand your child over for the day, safe in the knowledge that they will be well looked after.
Before I really knew Maria I had seen her in play centres with the children she was minding. Other childminders were sat around chatting, but Maria was always the one who was interacting with her children and constantly watching them and checking their safety.
She has taught my boys in 1 day a week far more than they learnt at preschool the rest of the week. She is patient and encourages them to learn their letters, numbers, phonics etc and makes learning fun. I have no idea how she finds time to do all the lovely craft activities with them as well as taking them out every day to play centres, walks, playgrounds, feeding horses etc.
Maria was born to look after children and your children could not be in safer hands.
We will always be grateful to her for the wonderful love and care she has shown our boys.
