About Me
Hi, I'm Amie and I'm a 33 year old who lives with her partner, Jack and daughter, Elsie (who is 4!) and Tommy who was born August 2024.
I am a friendly, caring childminder who loves to work with children and help to encourage learning through play.
I am based in Chessington, Surrey. My picks ups are to and from Lovelace Primary School.
I hope to provide parents with the reassurance that their little ones are being well looked after in a home based setting.
I work from Monday to Thursday and my hours are 7:30am to 5:30pm.

My Experience
I hold a Home Based Childcare Award, Paediatric First Aid and I am registered with Ofsted.
I have qualifications in counselling skills and I have attributes which make me a great listener and massively caring. I have years of experience with childcare. I enjoy being around children and helping them to explore their imaginations and passion to learn and play.
I continuously develop my skills and knowledge to aid in being the best childminder I can be.

I currently work Monday to Thursday. My hours are 7:30am to 5:30pm on these days.

Amie is a great childminder. Our daughter settled very quickly due to Amie’s caring nature. Our daughter thoroughly enjoys spending time at Amie’s house with her children and the other children that she cares for. Communication is very good. Amie provides our daughter with adequate meals/snacks. We are really happy that we chose Amie to provide childcare for our daughter.

My 2 girls have been going to Amie for the last 3 years and there is no one else that I would trust more with my precious babies. It takes a lot for us to trust someone with them, but Amie is great and offers a relaxed and enjoyable environment for them to be in. I can get feedback on what they are doing or how they are whenever I want. Much more personal than a nursery environment.

It has always been a pleasure working with your family and your two beautiful girls. I honestly look forward to welcoming a new one next year :-)
I found Aimee on this site looking for school drop offs and pick ups - I was nervous about leaving my son with a childminder when he was just starting school however after meeting Aimee my fears were allayed. She is a genuinely kind and warm person and my son was instantly relaxed around her. She is interested in what he has to say and gives her time to him. She provides breakfast and snacks and they have plenty of activities to entertain them. My son has never once said he doesn’t want to go to hers. It’s not easy leaving your children so I can’t thank Aimee enough for looking after my son so well and helping him go to school happy. I highly recommend Aimee for your childcare needs.

Amie is amazing! We have always used nursery’s for our childcare needs previously but decided to take a chance and go with Amie and we have never looked back!
Amie is so friendly and welcoming and my youngest child settled in very quickly because she creates a home from home environment which was important to me.
Amie pays attention to what my kids need and is always open to ideas on how to help them learn and develop. Amie, does so many activities with my children including, park visits, messy play and trips out and about. Amie is simply sensational and I’m not sure what we would do without her!
