Jayne has been childminding my son Jacob (3 years old now) since 2015. She looked after him for 5 days each week; 5 hours, 4 days, and 7 hours, one day a week.

I have been extremely happy with the care Jacob has received, and the great progress he has made whilst in Jayne's care.

Jayne's home is always welcoming, and a home away from home for Jacob, which is what I wanted for him when he was still young. Jacob often told me that he loved Jayne and Andy.

Jayne provides a wide, fun range of activities including plenty of outdoor play. I know Jacob has really enjoyed the garden and water play outside in the summer, sticking, and reading as well as outings to the park, trips to feed the ducks, and walks in the woods.

Jayne is great with young children and has had no trouble in gaining Jacob's confidence and encouraging his good behaviour and manners. When he is hurt or feeling under the weather I know that he feels happy to be comforted by her, or Andy.

Jayne has completed a diary detailing what Jacob has done each day. From this, I have had a complete picture of his whole day including what he has eaten, how long he has slept and all his activities. This helps me to feel involved in his care and that I can talk to him about his day.

All in all, I am thoroughly happy with the level of care Jacob received and I'm certain that being in such a positive and supportive environment has helped him develop into a confident and self-assured little boy.

I would absolutely recommend Jayne as a caring and dependable childminder.
