Our son used to go to Evie twice a week. We got to know her and her little boy quite well. Evie is not your typical childminder, she only looks after one or two little ones alongside her son which allows her to take them all outdoors for trips to playgrounds, parks, walks in forest. She has the most fabulous playroom I have ever seen, amazing range of toys allowing children to choose what they want to play with. There's also a child-friendly garden with a selection of the outdoor toys.

As it is only a small setting, each child gets a lot of 1:1 attention to ensure they keep learning new things and meeting all the milestones. Evie provides a lot of photos from every day, and a written summary at the end of the day. You know exactly how each day went. Evie has many years of experience looking after the children and it shows. There are set rules that children follow but at the same time she gives hugs and kisses if needed.

Evie is also a fantastic cook, she always prepares tasty and nutritious foods from the scratch for the little ones, and she provides healthy snacks throughout the day. Our little one loved going there, he was always so excited when he was dropped off. (This was not the case with another childminders). We as parents loved everything about the setting. I have seen a fair number of childminders in the local area when looking for the suitable childcare and nothing comes close. I wish our son could still go to Evie!
