Annika helped when my 8 year was unable to attend school time as well as regular weekends sitting. She is the first person outside of the family that I've been able to leave him with for a significant time and return to him regulated, calm and having had a lovely time. Annika continues to sit regularly and I never worry about leaving while my son is 'having a moment' cos she knows how to make him feel safe, and my son adores and respects her!
Overall
Leonor stepped in when my son wasn't able to be full time at school. He has complex needs but warmed to Leonor's calm and fun style, and every time I returned home after a few hours to a happy, regulated and well looked after child. I had no problems asking for help for regular lunchtimes and afternoons several times a week, no concerns leaving him even when he was tired and grumpy and my son looked forward to being with Leonor.
