About Me
I am an Ofsted registered childminder. I provide a high quality of childcare for babies, toddlers and children within a positive, safe and happy home environment. I follow the National Curriculum when planning and preparing a programme of play based activities. I carefully assess and monitor the attainment and progress of individual children in my care , ensuring that I complete all relevant record keeping, paperwork and administration to safeguard children at the highest level.
My Experience
I have qualified teacher status. I have worked as a full time teacher in primary schools for a total of 22 years, teaching children in EYFS, KS1 and KS2. I have also taught in different primary schools (and secondary schools), in and around Hull for a total of eighteen months as a supply teacher. For three and a half years (from July 2019 - December 2022), I was a headteacher at a small, independent special school for children aged 11-18 with a diagnosis of Autism. These children were also in the care system, and they displayed various different challenging behaviours.
My Qualifications
I0 GCSEs including English, Maths and Science (Grades A - C)
2 'A' Levels (Sociology grade: C and Art grade: D)
Upper Second Class Honours Degree: Criminology and Social Policy

My Availability
I am available to care for children every week from Monday - Friday, during term time and half term. My availability is from 7.30am - 6pm

Lizzie is looking after my 1y old son while we are at work 5 days a week and we are more than happy with her services 😀 Getting updates with pictures and videos puts your mind at rest . You can tell when you child is happy because is so well looked after, that's the most important bit 🥰
