Fabulous childminder

Jenny has been looking after our daughter for 15 months now and it has been the most amazing experience.

Our daughter has gone from strength to strength in her development. She absolutely adores Jenny and all of the other children she looks after. Jenny takes time to talk us through the different activities they have been up to that day and follows up with a diary and some lovely photos as well which is so lovely to see. Our daughter always has a beaming smile on her face which in turn makes us so happy. We love how varied our daughters days are when she is with Jenny. She goes to the farm, library, new forest, aquarium, museum, play groups (the list goes on…) as well as offering fantastic fun and activities at her home as too.

We are so so happy with the level of care that Jenny gives and would highly recommend her to anyone.

Fantastic Childminder and Setting

My 9 year old absolutely loves to go to Jenny’s for half-term, before & after school care. Jenny treats all the children as though they are her own and is attentive to individual needs.

Jenny has plenty of indoor and outdoor spaces, with frequently changing activities so the children are always excited to see what is there to play with. She also frequently takes the children out for fun (and educational) adventures; a brilliant extra at this provision, be it the park, a farm, a museum, feeding the local animals etc.

Jenny also does activities suited to the interests of the children in her care - she does cooking and crafting, perfect idea of fun for my daughter!
My daughter is also a sensitive little sole and struggles with particular things - Jenny is a pro distraction expert and great at helping kids overcome their anxiety of new things.

Other positives; the children absolutely love the snacks and multiple fruit options are offered to the picky eaters (my child!).
You can see the youngsters which Jenny childminds during the day are very well cared for and build excellent relationships with Jenny and the other children (at school pick ups, they are all excited to see one another, with the toddlers calling out the names of the others and running to greet them on the playground). Jenny is fantastic at communicating, I love that she shares pictures of where they are or what they’ve been up to, and special achievements; things they’ve learned and succeeded at.

Also a key note, Jenny is one of very few who is very well experienced and knowledgeable with regards to safety and regulations. You’ll notice a fantastic balance with assessing risks, ensuring safety and first aid needs are met, whilst ensuring fun, caring and encouraging environment.
