About Me

As a professional I pride myself in being nurturing, empathetic and engaging. The sessions I provide are 1:1 and are tailored around the needs of each learner. I will support, encourage, and develop their strengths and make areas of weakness less challenging by looking at different learning styles with the learner to best support their learning requirements.
Learning has got to be fun, engaging, and kinaesthetic for the learner to immerse themselves into our sessions. I know I succeed in this as my lovely learners thoroughly enjoy our sessions as well as making substantial progress within their education setting.
I feel privileged to be able to assist learners through their learning journey.

My Experience

I have over 15 years experience of working in Primary education assisting learners with special educational needs.

My Qualifications

I am a Dyslexia Specialist Teacher with a wealth of experience within primary education. I am also trained by Elklan, to deliver and support Specialist Speech and Language interventions, which can vary from Lego Therapy to Speech Sound Articulation.
I am also currently furthering my own education with Dyslexia Matters to become a Dyslexia Assessor too.
I have professional membership with PATOSS and I hold a DBS and all relevant insurances to tutor from my home.
