About Me
Hi, I’m a mother of 4-month-old little boy, living in Clapham SW11.
We are looking for a full time nanny starting from Aug 2024. It will be shared responsibilities first and then the solo charge from Sep when I finish my mat leave.
The main responsibility is to take care of my son when we’re working, take him out for outdoor activities, playgroups and parks as well as keep him busy with fun & creative indoor activities, help us with weaning process, follow his routine to set up a good daytime and nap schedule. Ideally you’ll be proactive in finding things to do and also be open to help with nursery duties (tidy up nursery at the end of the day, baby laundry etc.) as well.
Location: Clapham SW11
Start date: Aug 2024, can potentially start as part time from mid-Jun (2-3 days/week) if needed.
Hours: Full time hours Mon-Fri, 8am-6pm; Part time, I’m flexible with part time date.
My Requirements
- newborn experience, confident in taking care of small baby (changing nappy, take bath, take care of him when he’s ill, understand baby development progress)
- experience in weaning, and able to cool fresh healthy food to help with the process.
- follow his current daytime schedule to bottle feed and put him in sleep/daytime nap
- play with him indoor and outdoor
- take him out to parks, playgroups etc. (I’m new to the area, so if you are a local nanny who’s familiar with baby activities/playgroups around the areathat would be ideal!)
- when it comes to newborn, safety is the top priority. I will request to see Updated DBS, first aid training and reference if applicable.
- fluent in English is a must as I need to make sure communication and feedback is clear. Were mandarin-speaking house hold but any 2nd language is welcome! (I speak English, Mandarin and Japanese).
