About Me

I am passionate about teaching, sharing, and discussing knowledge in subjects that the student may either be struggling or interested in. Moreover, I enjoy learning, teaching, and discussing science and maths with people, especially sharing and providing the knowledge I have accumulated over the years.

My Experience

I have recently graduated from university with a Ph.D. degree, thus I am familiar with the whole experience as a student from 11+ to further education. I have a strong background in applied physics, thus I have strong knowledge in engineering subjects, especially in materials science. I have experience teaching others where I can simplify complex abstract concepts into something easier to understand at their level.

My Qualifications

I have a PhD in materials science and engineering with a MEng degree in materials science. Materials science is an interdisciplinary subject that requires knowledge of physics, chemistry, and biology. For A-level, I did Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Design & Technology with 12 GCSE subjects including English, Maths, and triple sciences. In addition, I can speak Mandarin Chinese to those who are not familiar with speaking in English.

My Availability

I have a flexible schedule where I am free after school in the weekdays and from the afternoon in the weekends.

My Fees

Tutoring from £20.00 per hour

My fees change depending on the education level the student wants me to teach.

For 11+ I will be charging £20/hour.
For GCSE I will be charging £30/hour.
For A-level, I will be charging £40/hour.
For further education, I will be charging £50/hour.
