When I was originally searching for a childminder, I met and spoke with few, but none felt right.
I couldn't believe my luck when I met Fran. My intuition told me that she was the ‘right one’ and she
has well exceeded my expectations!
My first child who will turn 7 this year, has been in Fran’s full-time care from the age of 10 months to
nearly 4 years old and during this time has grown into a happy and confident little girl. Fran has
played a huge part in Zosia’s development in that she has given my child guidance in manners, play,
sharing and of course her loving care. We felt that it was a second home for Zosia and due to the fact
that we don’t have any close family here we felt really pleased with a close relation that built up
within this time. A few months ago, my second child, Franek, who has recently turned 2, has gone in
to Fran’s care. This was an easy decision this time and I have been able to go to work relaxed,
knowing that he was safe and well cared for.
Fran is excellent at organising time for the children, with daily activities such as playgroups, park,
farm and crafts. She also takes the children on a wide range of activities and visits throughout the
holidays. She is very flexible in terms of dropping kids off and picking them up and she keeps us
updated on kids’ daily activities, also on the Facebook page – love the pictures! I have always been
able to discuss with Fran my kids’ progress and care on a daily basis. Her house is always clean, warm
and welcoming – proper family house. There is a plenty of fun and play equipment and early learning
tools (books, jigsaws etc).
I cannot stress enough how I would not hesitate to recommend Fran as a childminder and have
found her to be extremely competent, conscientious and trustworthy. I was more than satisfied with
everything Fran did with my daughter and I know and feel confident that Franek is well supervised
and has a lot of fun.
