Amazing Lady

As soon as I met Jo, I knew she was the only person I wanted to look after my son while I worked. She is a complete natural with children and my son loved her from day 1. I had never used a childminder before so was obviously a little stressy in the beginning, but Jo made things easy for me. I got little text updates throughout the day, pictures etc.

She's patient, caring and dedicated. Zavion (my son) asks me when he's next going to 'Jo-Jo's' and runs up the path to her. Jo makes sure that the children she looks after are entertained, from days out, education at home, art, creative play, to dancing around the room like a lunatic with them (I have witnessed this from the window and made great watching!) :-)

I am kept informed of what kind of day Zavion has had, and love all of the paintings and art he comes home with. He has learnt so much over the last year and thats with a big thanks to Jo.
I would recommend her to anyone looking for childcare. Absolutely amazing lady, who has gone above and beyond to make sure me, and zavion are happy. xx

Excellent, couldn't ask for better

I first met Jo when she worked at the nursery my daughter went to. My daughter loved Jo and always talked about her. When i heard she had set up her own childminding services in the erdington area she was the first person I thought of to look after my daughter for before and after school. Jo and her mum treated my daughter and myself and partner like family, They always kept us up to date with new developments and always informed myself about how my daughter was getting on. My daughter loved going to Jos and still talks about it now and she is 11. Jo always goes above and beyond what you expect of a childminder and always put the childrens needs first and works closely with familys to get the best out of the children. I would not hesitate to recomend Jo to other families. Thankyou Jo for everything you did for my daughter and our family.

The Best

I can't praise Jo enough. My two children have been cared for by Jo and her mom for several years and it's like leaving them with your mom/big sister. My son was diagnosed autistic at the age of 3 and the support I received from Jo was outstanding. She came with me to visit potential schools, attended meetings with psychologists, speech and language therapists etc... And was always happy to listen, support and give advice. The work Jo did with my son at her home was above and beyond what was expected from her, despite his challenging behavior, Jo never showed if she was worn out by him and always included him wholly as part of the group but also spent time alone to give him that one to one support he needed. My children were always happy in jo's care and all their social, emotional and developmental needs were met in full. It is clear Jo loves her job and the welfare of children in her care is jo's priority. Thanks Jo, you made a hard few years easier to cope with.
