My little girl has been cared for by Sharron since she was a few months old (she’s now almost 6) and I couldn’t be more grateful for what Sharron has done for our daughter.
Sharron’s setting is second to none! The physical learning environment and resources are remarkable and are regularly enhanced to reflect the children’s interests and present learning. Sharron is constantly striving for excellence and as a result has recently completely overhauled the outdoor learning space. Children now have free flow access to learning indoor and outdoors. Provision reflects the requirements of the Early Years Curriculum ensuring children have all necessary opportunities to develop and flourish.
The initial reason for wanting a child minder instead of a private day nursery is because we wanted a “home environment” for our young baby and felt a nursery would be to formal and institutionalised. With Sharron, young children get the best of both! Our daughter benefited from familiar routines and structures whilst also napping on the family sofa cuddled up watching a movie!
Over the years my child has built strong bonds with Sharron and her family. She honestly loves going and looks forward to seeing the adults and all her friends.
Before starting school our daughter also benefited from attending jungle junior sessions (communal church building next door) where Sharron and other Childminder’s and children meet up weekly. This experience helped to develop our daughters confidence, social and communication skills when meeting other adults and children. These sessions also built great foundations for school as she was familiar with a number of children who were in her nursery and reception class.
Sharron ensures parents are fully informed of each stage of their child’s development, i was informed of her strengths and and next steps and together we worked on these to ensure my child was making progress in all areas of her development.
Communication between parents and Sharron is excellent. We use several platforms including a private Facebook group, wats app group, texts and calls.
Sharron is incredibly flexible and accommodating, she goes above and beyond her role for the needs of the children and families she works with and is more than helpful if parents need additional days or hours than normal.
My little girl is now in full time school but still goes to Sharron for before and after school care and holiday club and all these years on loves it!
I couldn’t recommend Sharron enough, for us it’s been the best decision we have made for our daughter so far.

Sharron is so much more than just a child minder, if you are looking for someone who is reliable, trustworthy and always goes the extra mile - Sharron is second to none!
When you see the set up Sharron has it's easy to see why the children are so content and happy. It's a home away from home inside, comfortable and inviting. Outside is a year round play space that is practically a nursery itself!
Sharron is very knowledgable about child development and has put alot of thought into the equipment and toys she has including a huge range of beautiful wooden toys that encourage children to play more freely. Sharron is always adapting and developing her space too, always striving to improve, following the children's interest.
Communication is really important to us, we are always listened to and any important information is shared appropriately by either a quick chat, a message or the yearly reports. We are always been updated with what our daughter has done and how she is developing.
Anyone looking for a childminder, if you want your child to grow and develop as part of a happy, family centred care setting, I would highly recommend Sharron.

I first visited Sharron when I was pregnant in the autumn of 2017 and immediately felt welcome & supported!
Sharron started looking after our little one from her being 8 months old and she has just turned two. As a new mum I wanted to find someone who understood my worries & who would treat our baby as I would and Sharron did just that! Sharron and her family provide a loving, safe & fun environment for the children to thrive in. Our little girl loves going to Sharron’s each day and it is great to hear her talking about all her friends and the fun things she has done!
Sharron goes out of her way to help with any concerns and worries you have about your child or even yourself! We couldn’t have asked for a better support system for our child and family over the past two years & cannot recommend her services enough! So glad I went with my gut feeling when I first went to visit!

If you would like a professional, hard working, knowledgeable Mary Poppins, who throws support, advice and friendship into the mix then Sharron Jones is the one.
Sharron became apart of our family when she began looking after my little girl in 2014, she cared and supported her in all her development including her communication difficulties. Sharron also cares for my little boy who also has communication and emotional difficulties, which can be at very difficult at times, but she doesn’t discriminate him against the others. She encourages them to be the best they can be.
Sharron is something special. Not only does she support my children, she supports the whole family. Sharron has supported us through the good times and bad times, she’s been a shoulder to cry on, always ready with a hug when she knows I need it. She is always at the end of a phone for support and advice and will always go out of her way to help any way she can.
I can say that Sharron is like a family member to us not a childminder.

Sharron currently looks after both my children and I couldn't imagine life without her. She is brilliant. She is flexible and goes out of her way to have an individual relationship with each of her children.
I wouldn't trust anyone else to look after my babies. Thank you sharron x

My little girl has been going to Sharron for the past 12 months and she loves it. They are a lovely family and very approachable. Sharron is very professional and affordable. She is great with the kids and I often have trouble trying to get my daughter to come home with me when I go to pick her up. My daughters development has improved so much since being with Sharron.I can highly recommend her service to any one that need it.
