My daughter has been with Laura from the age of 1 and is now 3 years old. Laura makes every child feel special whilst in her care. She is such a natural childminder she is like a 2nd Mum. Nothing is ever a problem for Laura and tries to accommodate working parents where ever possible. My daughter learnt so much whilst with Laura and visited lots of different places. Whilst at work I would get pictures and I would get comfort from this knowing my daughter was happy. If you are looking for a childminder and Laura has the space honestly you and your child will be so happy with her.

Overall
I first see Laura's profile on the Childcare website and was interested as she mentioned the school where my son was at nursery. It later transpired that Laura's son was in the same nursery class. Unfortunately due to existing commitments Laura couldn't take my son on the day I was looking to cover but as our sons are in the same group of friends I have seen how brilliant Laura is with the children on numerous occasions. Laura is very calm and patient with the children and has many methods of encouraging their participation in activities. I have seen her use play techniques to encourage my son to eat his lunch which worked brilliantly. She just has a natural way with them that they respond to. Recently my son spent the day with Laura and I was confident that he would be well cared for and that he would have a fun filled day as I have seen from her FB page that she keeps them occupied and active and tbh I don't know how she manages to constantly think of new and interesting crafts and activities for them. I am duly impressed and couldn't recommend Laura enough to justify how great she is.

Laura has been my sons childminder since he was four months old, he is now starting nursery at nearly three. During this time laura has loved and nurtured him like her own. Nearly every night before he goes to bed he asks whether he can see Laura, Charlie and Emelia the next day and calls her one of his best friends. Her house is so child friendly and welcoming, a great environment for children. The activities and places she takes the children are varied, fun and educational, inspiring a love of the outdoors and learning. Inside, the child led play has helped Michael's language and imagination to blossom. Every day learn what michael has done and what progress he has made. The activities are varied, from paints and crafts, walks, role play, cooking and even having pet caterpillars! Communication with parents is excellent and by working with us we have helped michael to grow emotionally and socially. I am so pleased with Laura that I am entrusting my younger son into her care when I go back to work as I believe she is the best. I cannot recommend laura, her children and her husband enough.

Laura has been looking after my 15 month old grand-daughter for around 6 weeks now and both myself and my wife are delighted with the progress she has been able to achieve in such a short time. Laura and her helpers (daughter 15 months same as our grand-daughter and son a little older) have been able to take her into their playgroup immediately and treat her as if she was a long time friend. Also Laura works to help educate her in various areas via play elements. All in all finding Laura on the Childcare website was an enormous piece of good fortune for us and we look forward to seeing our grand daughter develop with our's and Laura's help.

My son recently spent a wonderful 2 days in the last school half term holiday with Laura and her little lovelies, he enjoyed himself so much he has asked when he can go again. Unfortunately Laura does not pick up from my sons school or I would definitely book him in. Laura is fantastic with the children she cares for and made me feel completely at ease leaving my son in her care. I was also very impressed that Laura asked me what my son liked / disliked and enjoyed doing ahead of his time with her to ensure his needs where catered for and he would feel comfortable. I am amazed at all the activities she managed to do with the children in one day. Laura's setting is extremely clean and well presented with lots of toys and craft activities to keep the children entertained. I can honestly say my son had a fantastic time at Laura's and I will definitely use Laura in the future for school holiday cover.

Laura is a fantastic childminder. As a parent she listens and responses to our needs and the nurturing environment she provides allows our son to thrive. He loves being in her care. Thank you!

My two daughters aged 6 and 8 have been with Laura for 4 months now and absolutely love the time they spend there. This was the first time I had ever left my children with anyone other than family and from the start she made it an easy and enjoyable process for us all; the children were made to feel very welcome and I was reassured with regular updates and feedback. I feel Laura often goes beyond what is expected of her and puts a lot of time and effort into planning fun and exciting activities which are rewarding and educational for the children. Special occasions are celebrated and Laura often puts on special tea parties which my children adore; upon collecting my children I have always noted what a great atmosphere there is within the house. I have always found Laura friendly, approachable, 100% reliable and would trust her implicitly with the care of my children.

Laura has been looking after my daughter for a few months. I thought it would be quite traumatic returning to work after my maternity leave but it has been made so much easier by all her support. Laura sends me pictures and text messages reassuring me that Alice is happy and having fun. I also get a daily diary of what she has eaten, played with, learnt or said and done. Then each week I receive an email with photos from the week which I love looking through to see what Alice has been up to. Alice has learnt so much with Laura and it has helped her confidence with other children as Laura takes them out regularly on trips and to playgroups. Alice loves going to Laura's and I would recommend her to anyone she is a brilliant childminder.

My two girls have been with Laura from the start of her registration and are extremely happy to go to Laura's house after school.
What I love about Laura's approach is it really is very much 'home from home'. The house is always welcoming and Laura takes time to acknowledge events and celebrations throughout the year. She also sets up planned activities and tasks which are fun and educational equally. There are also times that Laura encourages and helps my eldest do her homework. A huge help!
Never have my girls not wanted to go and this speaks volumes of the care and comfort they receive with her. I would thoroughly recommend Laura as childminder.

Daniel was with Laura for 6 months before starting school full time. I have never had to use any childcare facilities before and therefore was really worried about leaving him. I need not have worried at all as Laura was amazing with him. She also provided me with so much support during what was a difficult time for me and for that I cannot thank her enough.
Laura has the most welcoming home and is such a caring person. Daniel and all the children in her care were always smiling and having lots of fun. During his time with Laura, they did so many activities, park visits, music groups, baking to name a few and she was even able to get him to do painting and joining in with craft activities something which I and his preschool were not able to do. He always come home full of what they had done and very much looked forward to his next visit.
There were a couple times that he didn’t want me to leave but this has no reflection on Laura. She was able to work her magic and within minutes big smiles and I would be off to work. Before I would get to work I would receive a reassuring text message and/or photo.
Laura thoroughly planned her day with the children in her care and provided a daily journal of the things they had done and eaten that day along with each week I would receive photos of Daniel showcasing the same. I couldn’t wait to see these photos each week and in every photo he was full of smiles which I will always cherish.
I will be without question recommending Laura to anyone that needs a childminder in the Stifford Clays area.
