Sarah has looked after our son since he was a year old. She is brilliant, and absolutely everything I had hoped for in a childminder. She certainly deserves her excellent Ofsted rating!
The setting is a real home from home for young children, and my son loves it there. Sarah provides a secure and nurturing environment, with great attention to child safety (she has qualifications in safeguarding and paediatric first aid). But she is also highly creative, and applies her creativity and original thinking so that the Early Years Foundation Stage is delivered in the most brilliant and innovative ways! My son has far more creative play with Sarah than he does with me...
Sarah also makes sure that children get plenty of fresh air - children can go in and out of her garden easily and safely, and she also often takes them on trips to the park or nature reserve. Food is healthy and filling, with - thankfully - space for the occasional treat as well as nutritious home-cooked meals.
As our son has got older, Sarah has been wonderfully helpful and supportive in assisting with his development - her experience and expertise mean that I can ask her advice about any childcare matters and feel confident following it and getting results. All in all, she has been a wonderful addition to our son's life, and we will miss her very much when we have to leave!

Sarah looked after our son full time for about a year when he was about 2yo.
Sarah provided a safe and creative environment for our boy to develop in, with weekly tasks, a variety of toys and supports, books, crafty activities, etc.
The house was always clean and welcoming, with great external space, and we always saw it as a very safe place even during covid.
Our son always came back home very happy, well looked after, and developed an excellent british vocabulary and prounciation, coupled with very good manners.
Sarah has on several occasions advised us on best ways to approach key hurdles, like potty training, welcoming a new baby, etc.
We also very much appreciated her flexibility to accommodate our needs, often with very little notice.
We would very much recommend Sarah's childminding services to other parents!

Sarah looked after my son part-time for almost two years and I can't recommend her highly enough.
He was always happy to go there, it was almost like a second home.
Sarah is great at coming up with lots of creative activities for the kids to do, with weekly and seasonal themes, and she has a huge stash of toys for any occasion.
She also taught him excellent manners and supported us through potty training. It was very useful to have such an experienced childminder to give advice through all the different phases.
Sarah kept us updated with little anecdotes from his day and regular photographs and reports.
She went out of her way to make sure we were informed and felt safe even during the height of the pandemic.
A top choice for any Crouch End family.
