After visiting a number of childminders with a view to finding childcare for my 6 month old son and not feeling particularly comfortable about leaving him a friend of mine recommended Wendy Clarkson. I called Wendy and visited her the same day. Wendy made me feel at ease straight away. She is bubbly and outgoing and I could see that Dominic was very comfortable with her from the start.

Dominic is now four years old and a very happy and thriving little boy. He is bright and sociable and I can most certainly credit Wendy as a major contributor to his progress over the last three and a half years.

Wendy provides a bright and friendly environment for the children, along with numerous enjoyable and educational activities both at her home and on the numerous days out that she takes them on.

The children are given a homemade balanced diet with the odd treat thrown into the mix and she manages to get vegetables and food into Dominic that he just refuses point blank to eat for me at home.

Wendy is extremely reliable and has been very flexible with me hours wise as my job and hours have changed a number of times whilst Dominic has been with her. This flexibility has made my life so much easier.

Wendy is a big part of our lives now and she is an ABSOLUTE DIAMOND. I would certainly have no hesitation in recommending her as a childminder to anyone. Its going to be a big wrench when Dominic leaves her to start school in September.
