My son Ozzy has been with Jo for 3 years. He is now nearly 4 years old and as we have recently moved house it is sadly no longer practical for us to continue with Jo.

Ozzy has been privileged to have been looked after by Jo. She and her children have welcomed him in almost as another member of the family. He has been very happy and settled throughout his whole time there. From very early on he went straight to Jo without even a look back at his mum or dad. They have a lot of fun and rarely spend a day in the house. She takes them regularly to different playgroups in the area and parks when the weather is good. Particularly in the summer months she takes the kids on outings. In his time Ozzy has been taken to Chessington world of adventures, the farm, Wembley Stadium, Camden Market and the South Bank to name but a few.

From a parents point of view, Jo has made being a working parent a lot easier than it could have been. She is incredibly understanding, sympathetic and goes out of her way to be as flexible as she can. If early drop offs or late pick ups are requested she does her best to accommodate and she doesn't grumble if I text to tell my train is delayed! She is so thoughtful and has even offered to drop Ozzy off at the house on some occasions. She has an extremely pleasant, cheerful manner and loves to chat. She is also happy to listen and will take on board any concerns or suggestions without taking offence.

I have seen Ozzy develop into a fun loving confident little boy and I attribute a large part of this to Jo. She has really encouraged him to take part in conversation. The different visits to playgroups and meeting up with our childminders and their children, meant that he developed a lot of social skills from an early age. As a result of this, when he started nursery last year he was very quick to settle in.

We will certainly miss Jo and would thoroughly recommend her as a childminder for those looking for the qualities described above.
