Amanda and Peter saved my sanity and carer when they accepted to step a little outside the box where no other childminder was able to! Having my son attend a small specialist provision made finding a childminder extremely difficult. Amanda not only agreed to go the extra mile for my son but reassured me of her SEN knowledge. They are both understanding, compassionate and we'll experienced in their field and have made the whole process much easier for my family.

Thank you Amy for the review. Having your son here has been a pleasure and we wish you all the best in your new home
Amanda and Peter are the childminders every busy, working parent needs! My job requires me to travel long distances away from Worthing and my husband works near Gatwick airport, so having that peace of mind that my boys are in safe hands is priceless.
My youngest goes there full time and, despite being a clingy child, settled in straight away (believe me, he doesn’t just go to anyone!). He loves the regular outings to parks and playgroups, and gets on so well with the other children. He always heads off to Amanda’s happy and confident. My older child is collected every day from Lyndhurst (and cared for full time during holidays) which just makes the whole thing a breeze! They are both fed healthy, home cooked food for dinner (thanks to chef Peter), which is a huge bonus, as I am quite particular about my children not eating rubbish.
I was so stressed when I started looking for someone who could meet all my needs, but Amanda has well and truly exceeded my expectations. I can not recommend her enough!

Thank you for your review Elizabeth. Its good to know that your efforts are appreciated.
Well what can I say. I would be lost without the help of Amanda and Peter. I was always so nervous about leaving my child with basically a complete stranger. But amanda made eveything feel so welcoming. I could not recommend enough. The love and care my daughter has received here is outstanding, you really couldn't want any better . It really is a home from home setting. My daughter is always so happy whilst she there it's so reassuring. Just everything about them is incredible. I can confidently say that I highly recommend Amanda to anyone looking for a homely setting for your child.

Thank for the review Kirstie. Looking after your daughter was a pleasure. It is a pity it could not have been for longer but as you plan to come back to Worthing in the next year there will always be a space for her here.
I am so thankful for Amanda's childminding! She childminds my 10 month old boy and she has worked wonders! Before Amanda my son was in a nursery and he hated it! He would never be away from me without having total meltdowns.. then he went to Amanda's and he's been a completely different baby since ! No one else can still look after him as he still goes crazy but he'll quite happily go to Amanda's. I'm just so thankful because with out her I wouldn't have been able to return to work, it puts my mind at ease knowing he's some where he feels safe and comfortable! With plenty of activities and things to do he's never bored! I hope he can keep going for as long as possible !
Thankyou Amanda your amazing !

Thank you for the review Katie. It took Noah a little time to settle in but now he has he plays well, enjoys the different activities and is a pleasure to feed.
My son Ben has been with Amanda and Peter for 3 years and with much regret we've had to say goodbye as he starts primary school in a different part of Worthing.
Amanda and Peter have been fundamental in Ben's development, teaching and encouraging him as he has explored new experiences and skills. Ben is an only child so being in their 'home from home' setting interacting with children of different ages was one of the reasons I chose Amanda and Peter as his childminders so that he could learn to build relationships with different age groups, learn from them and also be put in his place by them when necessary- necessary life skills in my view.
Ben has had so much fun mixing structured and free play with sit down learning and I've been particularly happy that Amanda encourages the children to be out and about a lot whether with trips to the park and beach or more further afield to soft play, garden centres and so on. In particular the trips organised with Magicminders which have included farms, Field Place Trains and the fire station have been special treats. So much going on.
And now it's time for him to move on and I'm hopeful that with this great start in life going to school will be a positive step.

Thank you for review Julie. It is only four weeks since Ben left and he is really missed by everyone. The children keep asking, is Ben here today We both hope he settles into school quickly as we both know that he has a thirst for knowledge.
Amanda provides excellent care for both my children aged 2 and 5 years. Before my eldest started school my children went to a good nursery. I had never considered a child minder. I didn't think my children would get the education and social skills provided at nursery. I was very wrong. Amanda has a good number a children and goes to groups where the children can socialise as well as form good friendships with the children at Amanda's. My children are always coming home with artwork, cakes, plants and many other things. Amanda is very culturally aware and educates the children on things such as Chinese new year as well as other occasions. I love getting mothers day, Christmas and Easter cards. Both my children go in happily in the mornings and I don't have the tears from them that I got at nursery - which in turn prevents me from crying all the way to work. I leave them happily for the first time in their lives because I know they are happy. Amanda has been a great support with things such as my daughter being a fussy eater and my son potty training. Amanda has that personal touch. It's very obvious that Amanda has spent her whole career working with children. Amanda has taken the time to really get to know my children and I can tell she cares for them. I never need to worry that they wont get the fuss they need if they fall over. Amanda works with me for example I am currently cutting my 2 year olds day time nap and she respects this and works with me. I also know that being the natural she is, if my 2 year is desperate for sleep then she will allow him a short sleep. And I trust that she can judge this.
I am so happy with my choice. Amanda keeps me well informed with a daily sheet and a private secure facebook page. Its so lovely to see the pictures of my kids smiling. They are always so happy there. I am not sure I could continue working (as I usually hate leaving my kids but Amanda has made this possible as she meets all their needs). She has even let me borrow DVD's and books to help my oldest with learning her letters.
I could go on but my final point is that the price is very reasonable especially when the meals are included. The food is fantastic and full of goodness (as well as hidden veg which is needed with my daughter).
Thank you Amanda, we landed on our feet finding you.

Thank you Amanda for such a good review. When you receive comments like this, it does make all the effort and hard work worthwhile. It has been great watching Sebastian develop and Juliet now trying different foods, something she would not do when she first came to me.
Amanda has been great to my 9 month old daughter who was born premature. Having a busy job I initially put her into nursery rated outstanding by ofsted. She was a miserable child each time I picked her up, in tears, pampers not changed and Hungry.
She is a much different baby now with Amanda, happy, clean, well fed and meeting her developmental milestones. Amanda's interaction with the children and the parents is excellent. Great communication and always updates parents about the days events. It's less stressful for me knowing my daughter is with a great family and I can see her thriving right before me. She beams with happiness when she's back at home and for a baby who was just 1kg at birth Amanda and her family have done a great job. I'm so lucky to have found the right family.

Thank you Lily for taking the time to write this review. Kaysie has been coming to my setting for nearly three months now, though it seems she has always been here. She is a joy to care for and her infectious laugh brings a smile to everyone's face every day. She has become a member of the family and my seven year old daughter adores her. Her development is quite remarkable, especially when you consider her start in life. I am looking forward to seeing how Kaysie develops over the coming months.
Our son has been attending Amanda and Peters for roughly a year and i couldn't imagine him going any where else.
William is constantly stimulated via learning play; more often than not bringing something home that he has (with help as he has just turned 2yrs) made or painted and when the whether permits he is out at a park, at the beach etc being allowed to safely explore his surroundings.
Every time i collect William i am given a written account of his day; where he has been, what he has played with and what he has eaten. The learning Journals that Amanda and Peter complete are very thorough and as a new mum really keep my mind at rest as to how he is progressing, they have also been so reassuring when i have had concerns re his development.
I highly recommend Amanda and Peter!

Thank you Belinda for taking the time to do a review. It has been great watching William develop. As you know he was very unsure of his surroundings when he first came here, but now he is so confident and really enjoys his day. he engages well with the other children and it is good to see him making friends.
My son has been with Amanda & Peter since January 2015. He is extremely happy and settled with them. Recently I took him to see the Health Visitor for his 2/2.5 year check. I took my son's learning journal and 2 year check review prepared by Amanda. The HV was really impressed not only with my son's development but with the learning journal. She commented on all the observations and photos which show how much he does with Amanda - trips, groups & various activities etc.
I'm so pleased we found Amanda & Peter. I would highly recommend them ?

I decided to take my 2nd child to a childminder as I didn't have great results with my 1st at a nursery, I met Amanda through word of mouth at my sons school.
William started just gone over a year and after three months in these settings he has come such a long way, very sociable, independent, confident, eating mostly on his own and really eloquent, I never got that with my older so and I know children are different but Amanda and her team are doing a great job and I wish I would have taken my older child to her.
Now David goes to Amanda on an evening after school and he loves it, both of them do and I couldn't be any happier!!!!

Thank you for the review. It is good when parents take the trouble to write a review as it is a good way of being able to make sure that what i do is right for the children i mind. william is great fun to have a round and watching him develop and gain a little independance is very rewarding.
