4 years ago I made a nervous phone call looking for the perfect person to look after my daughter. 4 years later I have a second child with Mel and John and a second family. Mel and John have provided outstanding support and love to my daughter and have nurtured her into a beautiful little girl inside and out. They carefully choose activities that inspire her and develop on her skills, knowledge and personal interests, they have taught her to be kind, compassionate and given her a unquenchable thirst for exploration and life. They have taught her to be inquisitive and intelligent, to be brave and to always look after others but more importantly they have invited her into their hearts and their family so that she feels secure and happy and I know she will always be part of their lives. Mel and John have provided me with flexibility when life has been hard and provided childcare around my term time needs, they have supported our entire family in ways that I cannot explain and I will be eternally grateful for and have helped my daughter grow and adjust to life's challenges, from leaving me as a 1 year old to transitioning into primary school. There was never any doubt that they are the perfect people to start the process again with my son. If you are looking for a childminder then they can cater to your every need, ofsted outstanding, leading in their field, makaton trained, flexibility in hours and delicious food for lunches. If you are looking for that extra mile and to extend your family and fill it with love, laughter, care and compassion then Mel's childminding are truly the perfect option for you. As a teacher, I can honestly say the setting and the attention to planning and delivering education activities that build on prior knowledge and capabilities and inspire new learning is flawless.
