Elaine was childminder to my daughter Niamh from the age of 6 months until 5 years old and sometimes goes during school holidays. Elaine is also my current childminder for my youngest daughter Eilidh whom she has looked after from 6 months old and will continue to have Eilidh in her care until she starts school in August.

Elaine provides an exceptional childcare service, her facilities give the children a good variety of learning activities supplied through a wide range of books, toys and arts & crafts. The girls have even grown their own butterflies and released them! Elaine learns the children about different cultures and how they have different life celebrations for example Chinese New Year.

Elaine has taken both my girls to toddler group, and currently collects Eilidh from nursery everyday and has collected Niamh from school on occasion. Elaine also attends any nursery or school activities that she can showing the children support.

When it comes to meal and snack times, Elaine offers the children freshly prepared food from soup, sandwiches, pastas, yoghurts, fruit and vegetables along with water or milk to drink. The lunch menu is different everyday and Elaine asks the children for their input which is good.

During school holidays Elaine organises fun outings with the children including visits to museums (Summerlee Heritage Centre, Riverside museum, Science) safari park, outdoor play parks and softplay. They also go to the library, fairy trail, Ceramico, castles, coastal runs and the theatre. The also make lots of homebaking and arts & crafts.

My girls love going to Elaine’s as they have a great time and have both made good friends, and they both love Elaine and her dog Alfie!

I would definitely recommend Elaine’s services to all parents I know.
