Part of our family for 3 years
Trish calmly arrived on the scene to save the day when I was required to return to work when our daughter was 3 months old. I was at ease from the moment she walked in for the interview, and she was with us until Georgie was three. She was an immense support to us at every stage of her development.
They attended music classes and swimming together, but also very happy at home, keeping a nap schedule and playing, but moving on to starting to write and learn letters and numbers. They were often out and about locally, and Georgie got used to the rhythms of attending the library and taking our dog for walks... the routines gave her (and our terrier!) a lot of structure that helped the household run.
Trish is a patient nanny and excellent parental sounding board, never judgemental, but direct with her own experiences and views, which as a brand new parent was really helpful and reassuring.
Trish became very much a member of our family and someone that our daughter saw as a close friend and support. We miss her dearly but know we will keep in touch.
