Allan has looked after our 20 month old daughter for over a year and she absolutely adores him. When he comes to pick her up in the morning she runs to the door excited to see him! As a new mum I was anxious when I had to first hand my daughter over to someone else to look after her, but Allan sent me videos and pictures of her through the day (and still does) so I can see how much fun she is having. Allan and his partner, Debbie, have been like an Aunt and Uncle and have been very flexible and accommodating when we have been in a fix - they even stepped in to care for our daughter at short notice when we went into labour with our second child. They are always out and about with the children, at farms or parks or play centres, and they model polite, calm and loving behaviour which my daughter has picked up on. I am forever grateful that we chose them to care for our little one and would make the same decision again in a heartbeat.
