Our little one bonded so quickly with Nikki's warming and loving nature, along with her gorgeous dog Otis!!! It's such a shame we didn't find her sooner than we did. After being put off by his previous setting, Max felt so comfortable at Nikki's house and I had every confidence that he was safe and cared for at all times. Nikki has a wonderful heart and does so many activities with the children. Her home is cosy and inviting and really is a home from home setting. A true representation of what the perfect childminder should be! There aren't enough starts on here for how fabulous and amazing this lady is!!

My son went to Nikki every Thursday afternoon for nearly two years and I can truly say we love her so much and will very much miss her! Nikki always took the time after every session to discuss my son’s progress and what he had been up to and I always felt confident leaving him with her. Nikki was also a huge help identifying my son’s speech delay, something that had crossed my mind several times but I wasn’t sure what was age appropriate (he was one at the time Nikki mentioned she would expect more sounds and babble from him) this prompted me straight away to get a referral and has meant we saw to the issue quickly. Nikki really does has a gift with children and we will very much miss her, I have come to class her not just as my son’s childminder but also a friend.

My eldest daughter has been going to Nikki since she was 9 months old and will sadly be leaving for full time school in September. We have always had and excellent, professional and family orientated experience. Excellent activities and learning for the children daily. Our youngest daughter has just started and settled in immediately. Nikki is definitely a huge part of our family now and our girls love her and her own family.

My boys have been with Nikki on and off for close to 7 years. Nikki has been absolutely amazing with both my boys and they absolutely adore her.
Her home away from home setting is perfect, jam packed with fun and so inviting for the little ones.
Nikki takes the children out and about on educational and fun visits and she always offers different fun activities for the children at home.
I for one have put my complete trust into Nikki caring for both my sons and she has honoured that trust above and beyond!
I can’t recommend Nikki enough! You will feel at ease immediately because her way with children is so natural.
Thank you Nikki for the respect, admiration and love you have shown to my boys, we will always be grateful!xx

We all adore Nikki and we don't know what we will do without her.
We love that your are fully trained and are able to share with us all your knowledge. As a parent that works in the field of child development, I am well aware that I can be every childcare's worst nightmare. I never felt that way with Nikki, quite the opposite. We often share knowledge and ideas :-)
Nikki is very professional. She is always up to date with the most recent policies and regulations.
We love that Nikki provides the perfect balance of a small home environment with regular opportunities for the children to socialise in larger groups. Playgroup visits happen regularly. Nikki also provides regular outdoor time, either in her own garden or in other areas for the community. Riley is very active, enjoys going out for walks and exploring outdoor places. This is very important for us as parents. We love receiving regular updates and photos throughout the day. Nothing beats a nice photo or video during our lunch break.
Nikki works alongside us as parents to develop and nurture Riley. From our first meeting, Nikki always cared to know what we do at home so she could support us further. Nikki is always happy to offer advice and support in a way that is not pushy.
Nikki's care is very tailored to each individual child. Nikki has gone above and beyond to help Riley (and us) during the more challenging times, such as picky eating, toileting, speech, and toddler tantrums.
For us, the most important thing, is how much Riley loves Nikki. He jumps to Nikki's arms if we ever see her around Tescos. He talks about Nikki and all the children all the time at home. We even have requests to go and see Nikki during the weekend or every time we are close to her house. We are certain Riley sees Nikki as one of the most important people in his life.
We have come rely on Nikki for almost every aspect of Riley's development. But the day when I realised how much I have come to rely on Nikki was the day after a "not so nice" meeting with Riley's nursery at the time. They had highlighted a number of developmental concerns, which I as a mother, was aware they were there, but was not concerned. I left the nursery feeling that my son was not wanted there and was more of a hassle to them than anything else. I felt pressured to put him in nursery full-time because they kept telling me that having him in two different settings was causing the delays he had. After that meeting, I was a nervous wreck. Working in the field of children with disabilities, I was prepared with a number of assessments and professionals to help. Nikki was able to calm my nerves and offer her support and advice. Nikki filled in assessments for us, offered us an open door if any other professionals would like to come and visit Riley. We decided to pull Riley out of nursery so Nikki could have him 3 times per week. That was by far the best decision we have ever made. Within 2 weeks Riley's milestones were no longer a concern for us. We often sit and say "We should have done that ages ago".
We consider Nikki a part of our family and we will be forever grateful for everything she has done for us and Riley. We are dreading our moving day and we don't know what we will do without a Nikki.

My little boy started coming to nikki when he was 9 months old, was never a problem dropping off, always happy playing no tears! Always sent photos to show us how he was getting on, So good with him as he is a busy boy, thanks for everything lovely! Xx

When my 2 year old son started with Nikki he was a shy anxious little boy who wouldn’t let go of his dummy or blankie! After a few months with Nikki he no longer needed them. He started playing with other children and now doesn’t stop talking! My son struggles with his speech and Nikki would go out of her way to practice different sounds with him and would always give me tips to help him at home. Which I will always be grateful for. They were always out and about visiting different places and attending local groups which my son really enjoyed.
I would thoroughly recommended Nikki to anyone looking for childcare. My sons confidence grew every day in the time he spent with her, he would come home singing new songs he had learnt and bring home different craft, paintings and biscuits they had made! I could never thank her enough.

My nearly 3yr old has been with Nikki since 8months and cannot find any fault only praise!!! Upon meeting Nikki we felt at ease in a lovely welcoming homely environment & new straight away no one else would match up to looking after my girl. She has come on leaps and bounds and is always excited to go. Nikki keeps her busy all day long with exciting educational activities and outings and I’ve a very happy girl at the end of the day. Nikki has always been supportive in are parenting decisions and has offered great advise when I’ve been lost (1st baby)! Communication is excellent with daily reports & I don’t think anyone could do anymore for you :) my husband and I certainly would be lost without her and cannot praise her enough! My LO adores her! We have a fantastic relationship & will be with Nikki for as long as possible. Just excellent!!!!

Nikki provides a first class service, she is an amazing individual who has looked after my little girl for many years now. She is kind caring and provides a fabulous nurturing environment for all children in her care.
Enriched by her kind, caring and nurturing nature, Nikki ensures every child is happy, safe and reaches their developmental milestones both physics and psychologically!
It is always a worry when you leave you're most precious gift to another individuals care, but Nikki always ensures a safe, caring transition for both child and parents, with constant updates and feedback thus providing reassurances that our children are in the best care by an individual whom genuinely cares.
Highly recommend and a first class service by an amazing individual.

We left our twin toddlers with Nikki for the day whilst we took part in a running event. They had a fantastic day packed full of activities - from painting fairy doors, to dressing up, to playing in dens with a picnic. As we do not live locally we had not met Nikki in advance of the day, but her communication was great and she asked lots of questions about their likes and dislikes, so we knew they would be in good hands. And throughout the day she shared pictures, so we knew exactly what they were up to and that they were having a great day. They didn't want to leave....

When I decided I would like a childminder for my little man Nikki was recommended to me straight away. After finding out a place had become
available I went to meet Nikki. Straight away I found Nikki and her family warm and friendly I knew then she was the one for me! Nikki could cater to the hours I needed straight away. Since been with Nikki my little man has come on leaps and bounds his confidence has soared. Also his manners are fab he's learnt so much with Nikki and we se going to miss the whole family! Only reason for leaving is we are off up north. If you are looking for a childminder who you want to trust leaving your pride and joy then Nikki is the one ?

Excellent!!!
Nikki kindly looked after our 2 boys aged 3 and 5, for 6 hours on a sat morning whilst we holidayed in Pembrokeshire and my husband and I ran a trail run. I cannot more highly recommend Nikki to any prospective clients and will definitely use her again when in the area. This was first time we had left the boys with a 'new face' (both attend nursery and school so used to not necessarily having us on tap, but with faces they see on a regular basis), and thus possibly needed more reassurance and confidence in a potential new child minder to look after the boys to ensure the period went smoothly for them, and that we wouldn't worry during our time away from them. Alll I can say is Nikki was truly fabulous.... She made the boys so welcome with her cheery, warm, engaging and caring disposition, had oodles of different toys, made play dough with them, took them out on a pick nick and much more to make one of their favourite days of our holiday with her! They still speak of her so fondly, and ask when we may see her again! Nikki went the extra mile with phone calls/emails before to find out about the kids and for me reciprocally to find out about her, offered to meet them the day before so that they had met her (which unfortunately we were unable to do), and sent regular photos to us on the day of their activities for a visual update. Nikki is extremely professional and has a breadth of experience and qualifications under her belt which was also critical for us. This combined with her lovely manner with children makes us feel like we landed on our feet when we used her! Thank you so much once again and we hope to see you again soon! The bradford clan

From the moment I left my son (aged 8 months) with Nikki, I never looked back. My instincts told me that I had nothing to worry about and that my son would be well cared for - I was right. I have no hesitation in recommending Nikki and have absolutely no regrets employing her as my son's childminder. I really do believe she met his emotional, educational and development needs and he certainly enjoyed the "home from home" environment which in Nikki's case was a fun and loving environment. My son thoroughly enjoyed his time with Nikki, enjoying plenty of activities from days out, library, parks, playgroup to name but a few as well as enjoying crafts, reading and cooking. As a first time mother, Nikki provided me with all the help and support I needed, without any pressure, and I'm truly grateful to her for that. Nikki has a very pleasant personality, is conscientious, extremely professional and capable. You wont regret employing this lady to look after the most precious thing in your life.

Nikki had been our first choice for many years due mainly because our children love staying with her and we feel like we have no worries once our children are left with her.
Leaving my children before going back to the work place after so long off is never easy but having someone like Nikki to rely on is wonderful.
Through my day at work i have updates on how they are doing and what fantastic activities they are doing in a safe and secure enviroment that is a home away from home. Just what we wanted for our children when we leave them.
The great thing is with Nikki's childminding is the diversity of activities. Art. Cooking. Exploring. Playgroups to socialize. Learning. It all is a nurturing to progress enviroment that is wonderful.
My children are the most important things in my life, childminding costs are not important. But when you know that your child/children are safe and progressing that is truley priceless.

Nikki has cared for all three of my children from the age of 6 months. She is an exceptional childminder, I never worry about leaving them as they are engaged in so many activities, cared for in a home environment and are full of laughter. Nikki will go the extra mile and works with you to reach the development milestones. In a 7 year relationship I don't have a single negative comment and neither do my kids.

Nikki looked after our daughter for 2 days whilst we were on holiday in the area. She was fantastic and I would highly recommend her as a caring and competent childminder. My daughter is 7 months old and Nikki made her feel secure and loved in a totally new environment. She gave us a detailed review of the day including her sleeping & eating. She immediately provided our daughter with toys appropriate to her age and made her feel part of the family. Nikki is very professional in her approach and we would not hesitate to recommend her and use her again. Many thanks Nikki! We hope to return!
