I met Kathren at the St Philps Church play group and after observing her with the children that she was minding and for that matter every other child in the place. She is the most caring person that I have ever met in my life so when it came time to choose a childminder no one else came to mind. My daughter absolutely loved spending time with her.

We were so lucky to have found Katherine and I couldn't speak more highly of her. If you have the opportunity to have her look after your child, I would snap her up quickly! We had to move my son out of nursery as, following some changes there, we weren't happy with the care and he had become extremely distressed at drop off. Katherine was amazing from our first meeting. Her house is a home from home for our little boy - incredible facilities for play and learning, Katherine's calm and warm demeanor put us at ease and even I wanted to snuggle up and stay there. He found it hard going in at first due to his nursery experience, but within a really short time the drop offs became so much easier and now he is so happy to go there. He tells us about the nice day he's had, and even has asked us if he can go and see Katherine on his non-nursery days! It's night and day and it's done wonders for his confidence. Katherine is nurturing, kind, and so experienced, as a mum I couldn't have hoped for more. So when I say "snap her up quickly" I mean it, as I imagine she's very in demand! :-)

Katherine looked after my son from around 8 months until he was three. She is so warm and nurturing, he really enjoyed his time with her and we felt that he was in the safest hands. She has the patience of a saint and was so flexible and understanding especially as during the covid lockdown difficulties. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Katherine for a lovely home from home experience.

Katherine is an incredibly warm and nurturing childminder who has been extremely caring and kind to our children since they were 10 months old (now aged 7 and 4 year old twins). She is so patient with our boy twins and has amazing discipline, which has helped us a huge amount. Our children love being with her and going to her house, which is full of great toys and books. Her art and craft activities have always inspired our daughter. Also, she is very flexible, which is very helpful for working parents.

Katherine is such a lovely person who genuinely cares for the children she looks after. Both of my children loved being with her from babies through to the last years of primary school. It was so reassuring knowing my children were being well cared for, had a stimulating play area and exciting craft activities, plus new friends to play with. Katherine also regularly took them on trips to the park, other local museums and play centres during the school holidays.
I would thoroughly recommend Katherine as a childminder for complete peace of mind!

I can’t imagine our lives without this wonderful woman and her family. My son has been with Katherine since he was 9 months old (he’s now 3) and absolutely adores her, as do we! She really does go above and beyond, nothing is too much trouble and she has the patience of a saint. If you’re looking for somebody who treats you like Family, Katherine is the childminder for you.

Katherine is a wonderful caring woman who has been a fantastic child-minder for my daughter over the last 2 years. I consider myself extremely lucky to have found her and she made my transition back to work extremely easy as my daughter has been so well looked after.
She is warm, friendly and extremely patient with children. From the end of the first week my daughter was not bothered if I went onto work as she was so happy at Katherine's- a great sign!
Arts and crafts feature heavily so be prepared to receive lots of artwork!
I would highly recommend Katherine.

Katherine is a very good childminder. She is always happy, calm and smiling. My daughter and my son love her and enjoy the time in her house. She is flexible in scheduling and always helpful when I have something urgent at work. I truly recommend her.
