Brilliant with nervous children

I met Lara when she worked at our local nursery. Erin is our first child and at 18 months she was very nervous around people (even family members), shy and extremely tearful when I wasn't near her.

We enrolled her at the nursery 2 days a week to try and bring her out of her shell. It was hard.. very hard. But Lara never gave up. She would always reassure me things would improve and sure enough, they bonded very quickly.

Erin is now 3 years old and still talks about Lara regularly. You can instantly see how Lara makes children feel safe and loved. She adapts to suit their needs while also encourageing them to try new things.

I can confidently say that my funny, loud, outgoing little lady is largely thanks to the foundation laid with Lara. The next family to work with her will be so lucky, she really is special.

Exceptional Nanny, great addition to our family!

Lara had been with us since January 2020 taking care of our then 2yo daughter. Our daughter will start school in September and we’ll be sorry to see Lara go. Lara very quickly adapted to our daughter’s and families needs when starting with us. My husband and I both have busy full time jobs working from home during the Covid restrictions.

Lara’s natural affinity with children was apparent from the start. Our daughter adores the time they spend together, learning through play and outdoor activities, as well as structured playtime inside on wet days. Lara plans weeks in advance, ensuring all areas of development are covered.

Lara is extremely trustworthy, punctual and has a key to our home to let herself in and begin the day’s preparation such as packed lunches and evening meals. Lara has never had a day off sick and plans holidays well in advance.

The next family who Lara decides to work with will be very lucky, as we have been. Thanks Lara!
