We found Lauren in the midst of COVID chaos in December 2020 and we feel so lucky and privileged to have her as our son's childcare provider for the past year and half. Lauren and her wonderful family have given our boy a safe and stimulating environment to grow, learn, develop, play, interact and just be a happy boy. Her amazing approach with kids and innovative ways to learning is dynamic, fun, messy, jolly and gives the children opportunity to explore and play with textures, colours, shapes, sounds, lights.
We as parents have enjoyed the continuous updates and fun photos and videos of activities and nutritious meal updates.
We feel that we have found a home away from home for our child. Such a wonderful environment for an infant and a great assurance to a parent that their kid is safe and well looked after.
We are soon to move to pre school and with heavy hearts are to say goodbye by to the weekly drop offs but we genuinely hope that we can still have some fun days with Lauren and her family in future!

My daughter has now left as we have moved home but has had the most amazing experience at this setting over the last couple of years. As soon as I stepped into her beautiful home and spoke to Lauren I instantly warmed to her, very professional but easy going at the same time. Lauren is fantastic with the children she is a real life Mary Poppins!
As a first time mum I struggled with getting my daughter to sleep and into a routine and Lauren helped us so much and turned this all around whilst making it look so easy! I was on the waiting list when I found out I was pregnant and although it was a long wait it was so worth it!! The activities and resources Lauren has to offer are brilliant and my daughter always came home with art work he learnt so much!! Lauren is very reliable and efficient she never let us down and every day opened the door with a big smile! Honestly can’t recommend Lauren enough! Thank you for everything you done for us as a family! X

My daughter started with Lauren in September 2019. She’s now three.
When I started she was doing 2 days at Lauren’s and she was doing 3 days at a Nursery. This was due to the fact that Lauren had limited availability. Having been with Lauren for the time I have, I now understand why. She’s a amazing childminder with a fantastic setting and family.
I work in a school and I am a safeguarding lead. Due to this it makes it extremely hard at times to find childcare for your child as you want to tick so many boxes when looking for approved childcare, as your safeguarding training comes into play.
As soon as I was able to I secure a full time place with Lauren I gave my notice to the nursery. My daughter was happier with Lauren then in the Nursery setting.
My daughter was with a childminder I could completely trust and someone who my daughter was able to form an amazing bond with.
I had a childminder that provided me with regular updates throughout the day. To date I’ve never closed our WhatsApp conversation as it’s an amazing way to track my daughters progress and see her growth since our first settling in session, the amazing photographs you receive on a daily basis are a bonus.
My colleagues, family and friends often assume my daughter is in a Nursery setting due to my daughters daily activities and trips.
Lauren also supported me with transitioning from nappies to toilet training and any other queries I had.
After having my daughter I returned from Maternity leave I got a promotion and started in a new role, finding a good childminder was detrimental to me being able to progress in my career.
I will forever be grateful for what she has done for me and my daughter.
In terms of fees Lauren even ensures that parents pay equal Monthly payments. Your fees are spread over the length of your contract. This was just another perk of having a understanding organised childminder who both a parent and a professional.
I am also willing to provide a personal reference or let you view my daughter book of memories that Lauren provides all children with once they leave.
If she has availability and your looking for a Childminder in Enfield you won’t be disappointed.

Our son was with Lauren for 18 months, he had such a fantastic time with her during that time. Lauren was really great at organizing daily activities for the kids including educational games, puzzles, and varied activities. She also organized daily outings to the park, library and groups as well as providing the children with lots of outside time in her lovely garden. Lauren has a beautiful home which is the perfect environment for children to learn and feel comfortable, she really made our son feel like part of her family. Lauren has such a loving and caring nature, our son settled very quickly with her and we never worried about him while he was in her care. Communication from Lauren was brilliant, she sent us daily updates and photos, and was always happy to chat to us about how he was doing and offer tips and advice to encourage his development.
Our son really thrived when he was with Lauren, she provided fantastic care including great food, a warm loving environment, and age-appropriate toys and activities. Lauren ensured that the children were engaged and focused on a wide variety of activities which really furthered our son's development in such a way that he always had fun and loved being with her. We can't recommend Lauren highly enough!

Lauren cared for our son from the age of one until he was a lively three year old. He absolutely loved his time with Lauren and her family and would happily run in each day. Knowing he was happy and safe gave us complete peace of mind when he was there, allowing us to relax and focus on work.
To inform parents, Lauren would send photographs and updates about activities, meals and naps which kept us informed but also were great conversation prompts when trying to encourage our son to talk more.
Lauren worked hard to introduce new stimulating games and activities on a regular basis. When possible (not in lockdown), Lauren would take the children to groups, the park and soft play, adding variety to the children's week.
Her home is extremely loving and warm; as well as being clean and spacious. Our son loved the space to run around and enjoyed exploring her garden.
Lauren is very flexible and really supported us through the pandemic (as we are key workers). She was open to our requests for additional support (outside of our contracted hours) and would support us if she was available.
We would absolutely recommend Lauren and look forward to staying in touch.

Lauren is everything on your childminder check-list - experienced, smart, nurturing, fun, full of energy and capable of juggling a troupe of rowdy pre-schoolers with enviable ease. She clearly loves what she does, and the children adore her too. Her house is spacious and homely, with a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. When I drop off my daughters it's great to know that they're in safe hands - and they'll have a brilliant time!

Lauren has being picking up our eldest daughter from school for over 2 years. She loves going to her house and for her it feels like a home from home. She gets along very well with the other children and especially Lauren's daughter. Lauren is very caring towards the children and cooks lovely meals for them. Our youngest daughter started school this year and hence also started attending Lauren's setting. She settled in amazingly well. Lauren is a highly recommended and flexible childminder.

Lauren has looked after my year four son after school for the last seven months. During the whole of this time, her care has been excellent. She is very experienced, conscientious and reliable. Her communication is also excellent.

Lauren cared for and nurtured my daughter from the age of 20 months until she 3 years old. In that time, Lauren taught her how to recognise numbers, encouraged her to write /mark make and recognise her name, offering new and exciting learning opportunities each day. Lauren is very caring towards the children in her care and this is evident in the fact that my daughter spoke about her most weekends! She built up a trust and a bond with her that gave me total peace of mind each morning, when I dropped my daughter off. Even on the days that my daughter was tired or a bit grumpy, Lauren’s calm and empathetic approach quickly diffused her tantrum, diverting her attention onto something else. Each day, Lauren provided healthy and nutritious meals, encouraging my daughter to try new foods. She exposed her to a wide range of learning opportunities outside the home such as singing groups, playgroups and day trips out. I honestly cannot recommend Lauren highly enough as a child care provider and an educator!

Our little one has been with Lauren for almost two years. It’s now time for him to move on to the next stage. Lauren has done a wonderful job as his childminder and we couldn’t recommend her more highly. Lauren is caring, enthusiastic, and reliable. She is professional but flexible and understanding of our needs. She communicates well with us and we have a clear idea of the children’s activities and meals every day. Our little one will miss her a lot but our children have become good friends.
