One of the BEST!

We have employed Helen for the last 9 years as childminder for our 3 daughters. Each child has been cared for by Helen from the age of 8 months until they have started school. This fact in itself shows the high regard we hold Helen in as we have trusted her with the care of ALL of our children in their early years.
Helen is a kind, caring and approachable childminder who provides a home environment for the children in her care, treating them very much like part of her family.
Her setting is always clean, tidy and well resourced with a wide range of toys, games, art and craft and learning activities to cover the range of ages she cares for. It is rare that the children returned home without something they had made.
She supplements this excellent care in her home with regular visits and trips out to soft play, beaches, countryside walks and play parks allowing children to experience a wide range of challenges and opportunities to socialise and learn.
As a person Helen is adaptable and accommodating and will always try to help out if circumstances change or extra care is needed. She is very calm, (even when I was sobbing on her doorstep on the first day leaving child 1!!!) and puts your mind at rest with regular updates and photos to let you know your child is fine and happy throughout their time with her. She will help to support you with any issues your child may be having and has a wealth of ideas and tips that have been so useful in bringing up my girls.
My children have thrived with Helen and we are so sad that our time with her has come to an end. I asked them for 3 words they thought described Helen and they said ‘we love her’!!! This I think says it all!
Helen will always be a part of our family and we will continue to see her long after her time as our childminder ends!
I can not recommend her enough to care for your children.

My kids love her!

We found Helen in 2014 when I went back to work, my daughter was 6months old, it was scary leaving her with someone at that age but Helen was fantastic. She said all the right things and we immediately felt at ease. My daughter was so happy all the time there. Helen does lots of outings and crafts, all the kids there are so happy. My daughter is now at school, but constantly asks to go back in holidays! My son started there 3yrs ago and again he has been made to feel part of the family and has enjoyed every moment there and couldn't wait to go back after lockdown. Helen communicates everything and is happy to adapt to routines and ways you might like things done, whilst helping you through the tough parenting times with helpful ideas and things to try!
