I was a little nervous about leaving my baby to go back to work, but Jo and her assistant Lauren are extremely caring, welcoming and very patient with the care of my fussy little boy who is a non-mover.
Jo always kept me at ease with little updates on how he was doing and our little one settled in really quickly.
She is brilliant at what she does and her setting is very a friendly, homely, and safe environment with lots for the kids to do, explore and learn :-)

She is the best childminder one can have for their kids in Northampton. we came from different background still she quickly understood our needs with our daughter. she was very flexible with the demands of the over protective parents. She actually became like our family. our daughter learnt so much in very little time .now she goes to school and misses her so much. she involves the kids in doing so many different activities. Now I am waiting to send my second daughter to her as soon i get the job.

Joanne was kind enough to accommodate us for a one-off day to look after my 14 month old daughter while my husband and I attended a friends wedding outside Northampton. We are from Tunbridge Wells so we very much appreciated it!
Joanne is clearly very experienced with children as my daughter went straight into the nursery area and Joanne talked to her and watched her for a while and then quickly identified where she was up to in her development and found the toys she liked to play with. There were no tears when we left and I had regular updates throughout the day.
Joanne was kind enough to keep my daughter a little longer in the evening so I got an hour on the dance floor that I wasn’t expecting to have, thank you Joanne!

I cannot recommend Jo and her assistant Lauren enough. They are both truly amazing with the kids. So patient, caring and loving. They both genuinely care about all the kids. Even messaging us when our son has been poorly to see how he is.
Jo's passion for childcare really shines through with everything they do. From getting all the kids of all ages involved in role play to crafts. I'll treasure the things that Noah has come home with always.
They go out regularly for trips to different places, the farm, park and strawberry picking. She also takes them to different play group's.
She sends regular photos of what they have been up to, which always makes the day at work so much sweeter. She also makes picture collages of special trips and for each month of a snap shot of the fun and games.
A massive plus for us was that she provides all meals including dinner which for us was amazing so when we got home after collecting at 5 we can have quality time rather than having to have dinner. She has been so patient with our fussy eater 1 year old and always trying to offer him new things, and has given me some tips to try and get him to eat.
The only reason we have sadly had to leave Jo is due to her moving and her new location doesn't work for us. We are really sad that Noah won't be going to her anymore and wouldn't have changed if she hadn't have moved.
Jo and Lauren are really everything we could have wished for in a childminder and more. Any child that gets to be cared for by them will be truly lucky. We're really going miss seeing them 4 days a week.

Joanne has literally been a God send over the past 3 years.
I cant say enough how much she has gone above and beyond for me and Naseem. I feel it is going to be impossible to replace her now Naseem has started school in a different area.
-Her environment is lovely, clean and theirs lots of activities/toys.
-She has helped Naseem massively in regards to his development.
-She always gives advice and feedback.
-Joanne has covered for me loads last min and has had Naseem long days for me when needed,
-Offered support with so many things even out of the nursery.
-She is super reliable and flexible when needed.
She is just a kind genuine person who has the patience of a saint. The amount of drawings, posters, butterfly canvas's etc Naseem has come home with is just wonderful. They are always doing something or out at a play group or the farm, the park. She has been there for Naseem through all of his milestones in the past 3 years and I am just super greatful. Thank You Jo. You really are a super star

I could not recommend Jo highly enough! Our twins have been with Jo since just before their first birthday. They are now three and only leaving in the summer to attend Pre-School.
Reasons why we would recommend her highly:
-Firm but fair approach - the children respect her authority and she is consistent with rewards and sanctions
-Cooks good food - varied and the children enjoy it. She is the only childminder we found that provides all meals
-Very flexible - has helped us out with a slightly unusual inconsistent rota. Is open longer hours than most to cater for all. On one occasion had them overnight at the last minute due to an emergency.
-Excellent communication
-Has never let us down - has always found alternative provision if poorly (only once in two years) or when she had her own daughter and even then was having our children again after a week!
-Has a very warm, caring and capable assistant who is also very flexible and helped us out at the last minute
-Gets the children involved in a wide range of activities - craft/art, reading, wide range of toys - indoor and outdoor, assists with learning numbers/letters/colours etc
-Has helped no end with potty training and established a reward system we now use at home
-The children learn about every event and make things appropriate to the time of year (Christmas, Easter, Mother's Day etc....)
-Takes the children out regularly and on special trips to soft play etc
-Runs a playgroup and takes all the children with her - encourages them to walk and do things for themselves daily like shoes and coats etc
-Has a dedicated playroom and bathroom
-Outdoor space is fab - has a decking area and grass area for the children to explore
More than anything she is a great person, very chatty and kind and we feel we got very lucky to have found her!
