We’ve been so lucky to have Emma as our childminder! She always keeps us in the loop about Khalani’s day—what activities she’s doing, how many nappy changes she has, what she eats, and when she sleeps. It’s so reassuring to know what’s going on.
Khalani has loved going to Emma’s and is always excited to be there. She’s made some great friends, and it’s clear how much fun she has! As she gets ready to move on to preschool and eventually big school, both of us will really miss Emma. We’re sad to say goodbye, but we’re so thankful for all the wonderful memories Khalani has made with her.
Thanks so much, Emma, for everything!
Emma only had my 2 yr old daughter for 9 months, but they had such a great bond. Harper loves Emma and you can see it's reciprocated! Our Harper is a very willful toddler, and Emma has taken it in her stride and shown so much positivity.
I have had a lot of change with my work schedule, and Emma has been so helpful and understanding all the way through.
I feel Emma makes so much effort to have a close bond with the parents, as well as the child in her setting, and it makes all the difference in the world with giving us parents that peace of mind!
Couldn't recommend Emma enough, thank you so much for being one in a million! You will be so missed.
Off to nursery for Harper's next chapter!! X
Emma took my two in an emergency and was amazing. My 3 year old had an amazing time with her and she was able to settle my 1 year old quickly. Both my children came away happy and content!
Thank you Emma ☺️
I think Emma would agree but my 9 month old was undoubtedly the most difficult little being. Crying non stop most days, for weeks. Emma kept her cool and showed my daughter that it was fun to leave mum for a while. I believe not many people would have faired so well. And that’s why we chose Emma. We knew her kind hearted soft approach would be what my daughter needed. And here we are a few months in and my daughter holds her arms out to go to Emma. She’s settled happy and enjoys her time.
We’re sad to be leaving, but whoever takes our space will be super lucky. ❤️
I am so grateful for Emma, and the outstanding care she has provided for my little one, from the tender age of 6 months-2 years+. My son warmed to Emma very well. She constantly made me feel reassured, and offered great advice for a first time mum like myself. A professional, extremely outgoing and most of all caring childminder. Thank you Emma!
It was always going to be hard sending our 1yo to a childcare setting, especially post covid, but we instantly felt very comfortable with Emma and loved the bright, colourful and clean setting she provided for the children. We didn't have the easiest start, as our boy struggled to settle in, but Emma was very good at communicating with us, providing regular updates, and doing what she felt was best by the children in her care. Over time, our boy settled, and enjoyed the regular outings that they went on; exploring in the woods, visits to garden centers and cafes and even the airport just to name a few. We have seen our child develop so much over the past year, I can honestly say that we were very sad to finish our time with Emma, but we believe that she has helped prepare our boy for a new challenge, and it is wonderful to see him thriving now.
Emma has been looking after our son since he was just under a year old. Throughout his time there, we have seen him develop from a baby into a little boy ready to start pre-school.
Throughout the day we often receive updates on the activities that he has been getting up to, and throughout the year we can see his development through his learning journal. Emma often takes the children in her care out and about, whether on local walks or to toddler groups or soft play. She also has a large garden that the kids can run about in during the sunnier months. All in all, Josh has really loved his time there!
At first I wasn’t sure about 1) putting my 7 month old daughter in childcare and 2) what setting and environment would be best for her. And then we struck gold!
I can’t recommend Emma and her home highly enough. A childcare professional looking after her development - emotional, physical, intellectual - through outings, groups and home/garden play in the most loving and caring way, 10 hrs a day.
We’re always kept in the loop with what they’re up to with photos and messages as well as her learning journal.
If my daughter, 2 years later, has the choice of going to Emma’s or staying home, she always picks Emma! We definitely feel like the blessed ones being able to send our daughter to one of the best childminders.
Emma started looking after my daughter in year R and now she is going to the comp she no longer needs looking after by a childminder 🙃 the 6 years Emma has looked after lily have been great, Emma is always on the go. She makes sure the kids are never bored, she takes them out whenever the sun shines 🌞 frimley lodge, the lookout, blackbushe, different local parks. She has taken lily to the cinema several times and on rainy wet days Emma will bake or make soaps, tie die pillow cases, do gamma beads, art and craft. Your kids will never be bored with Emma.
Finding a childminder who we felt comfortable leaving our 2 year old boy with was always going to be hard, but the second we met Emma we instantly warmed to her and her kindhearted nature and so did our son.
Her house is always clean and well kept, with a lovely, well stocked playroom which our boy absolutely loved, and all her family are very friendly.
Right from the beginning Emma gave us complete peace of mind, and the fact that we used to just turn up to Emma's each morning, hand over our pride and joy and leave for work without thinking too much of it just shows testament to how confident and happy we were with Emma as a childminder.
I have been in contact with Emma daily receiving pictures of things they have been doing, and also been able to go to her for advice or reassurance on various things.
They would often go out to groups/soft play or make things at home for him to bring back which i loved.
Overall we would highly recommend Emma as a childminder and it's safe to say we all are going to miss her especially our boy.
