Amazing Childminder 🫶🏻

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Clare and Megan !

They truly are an amazing pair , I knew Freddie was going to be in great hands when I went to visit their set up , one of the children sat on Clares lap and fell asleep cuddling her , we are a very loving family and I am so pleased he was put in the same setting whilst he was so small, without a doubt if we are lucky enough to have baby number two we would love to have them with Clare and Megan again :)

Brilliant Childminder!

Our little boy started with Clare when he was 8 months old, and is now leaving after two amazing years going to Clare’s 2 days a week.
As a first time mum I was nervous about finding the right childcare for my son, and took the time to meet a few childminders/see a few nurseries before deciding. When I met Clare she was so warm and friendly, and assured me that she aimed to provide an atmosphere similar to that of going to a Grandparents house. With my little boy being under one, and due to be spending 2x10 hour days a week there, we really felt like this was perfect for us as we didn’t want a setting that felt too formal.
Clare was happy to look after our son in the way that was important to us- she used the reuseable nappies we provided, and gave him my expressed milk- both things that other childcare settings were hesitant/would not do.
She communicates with us via WhatsApp- not the sort of childminder to log every single nappy change but rather gives us an idea of how he is getting on in the day and sending a couple of photos, with a friendly chat to catch up properly at pick up.
Clare has a fantastic assistant Megan, and between then my little boy absolutely loves the days he spends there. Every Tuesday they do crafts, which he loves, there is also an abundance of toys and other activities (like planting sunflowers and watching butterflies hatching!).
Recently my little boy has been potty training and again they have been brilliant at following the same method we have to help him to success.
A year ago we moved out of the area but continued to send our son to Clare and Megan as they provide such excellent care. We are now leaving so my son can start at a little local preschool but I am truly sad to say goodbye to someone who has been such a fundamental part of my sons early years care. Would highly recommend!!

A truly amazing Childminder!!

Our 2 year old son has been coming to Clare’s for over a year now and it was the best decision we ever made!!

Clare and her assistant Megan are so lovely and are absolutely fantastic with the children, taking the time to get to know them all on an individual as well as family basis. Her home is a wonderful setting and so well-equipped for all the children’s needs. They do such a wide range of activities with the children, including crafts, baking and toddler groups and it’s so lovely to receive updates and pictures throughout the day to see what they’re up to.

Our son was born in lockdown so was extremely shy and nervous before he started, having hardly socialised apart from with his immediate family. Clare was extremely patient and caring, finding out exactly what he liked to help him settle, which he soon did. He’s now like a different child, he walks straight in without looking back.

We couldn’t ask for any more from a Childminder - it’s so clear to see that Clare and Megan love what they do and it shows every day.
